We did a morning Game drive. The vehicle needs to be serviced and cleaned.

All of the Foods was excellent. The Chef goes out of her way to make really good food at all meal times. She also takes the time to chat to the guests about the food experience. Location is within a Game reserve so very tranquil and excellent accomodation facility.

The staff were loud in the afternoon when we arrived, but did eventually quieten down.. We wanted to do a Game drive on the Sunday, but the driver wanted us to join another group on the Saturday afternoon and said it was his day off on the Sunday and that we wouldn't see any animals.

The food was exceptional! We loved the fact that the lodge is small, so there were not many people. The bed was comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel right at home. From the security at the gate to the cleaners. Food - well, all i can say is 5 star plus food !! The spa experience was excellent!!! Alex, the guide, also tried his best to find the find the free roaming big 4 for us. The outside shower was such a nice touch to the room, and we really loved it ! In summary, we had an excellent stay !!!

Staff children in the guest areas unfortunately spoils the tranquil setting (I believe no under 12's allowed?) The aircon in our unit was very noisy. Coffee machine was faulty.

Beautiful location inside Mabalingwe Game Reserve. Small and intimate with lots of cosy places to relax. Rooms were lovely, the outdoor shower a highlight. Small touches like rusks in the room. Food was delicious, as well as the nice Gin selection. Danie was professional and very helpful. We absolutely loved our stay

Meals on the last day were not as exquisite as the first day.

The food was delicious except the last day of our stay, we could sense change of chef.

The food was exceptional and the service from every staff member was outstanding. Each chalet is very private and the scenery is relaxing. Itaga has most definitely got my stamp of approval for a breakaway and some rest and relaxation.

Wonderful friendly staff. Fantastic food. It was so wonderfully relaxing and comfortable. Watching the animals at the waterhole was delightful. I had a massage at the spa and that was terrific. This was my birthday celebration and it will always be a birthday to remember.

The food was delicious, the room was comfortable and lovely and the staff went out of their way to make the stay as great as they could!

After returning from a Madikwe lodge, the room, although excellently maintained, gave a somewhat cramped impression. Some parts of the grounds may have been maintained somewhat better in view of the 'luxury lodge' designation.

The meals (dinner and breakfast) were excellent, prepared by a creative chef. Comforting ambience with brilliant sunset views from an open veranda restaurant. It was nice to have been served by someone with extensive experience.
