The Water, although clean and safe to drink, has a very strong iron smell to it, which can be off-putting and takes getting use to.

We had a wonderful stay at Jacaranda Wine and Guest farm. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful. The hosts, Rene and Birgit are such warm kind people and made our stay extra special. We also enjoyed the lovely Rosé that was given to us from their own wine - delicious! We stayed in Chai cottage. Lovely and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The shower pressure was great - always a plus! The sparkling clean pool was so enjoyed in the hot weather. We can highly recommend this place and hope to be back again soon.

Everything - the hosts are absolutely wonderful, the animals on the estate are the friendliest and it’s a stunning place to stay. Well worth doing a wine tasting there with Birgit and Rene - some great wines on offer (our favourites being Salt and Down to Earth)

Water was clean and safe to drink, but has a "iron" smell/taste which takes some time to get used to.

Very nice cottage with seating on both sides for morning and evening sun. Clean, large bed and good kitchen. Very friendly owners and private wine tasting.

Unbelievable location, grounds and views. The hosts were so kind to us and very welcoming. They gave us a bottle of wine, a lift to a local wedding venue and they have lovely dogs. The cottage was comfortable and big.

Beautiful tranquil setting and this time of year the Jacarandas were in full bloom. It was stunning! Hosts Birgit and René are super nice people and we loved their exceptional wines.

It was unfortunately pouring with rain the entire time we were there, so we were unable to make use of the facilities, or enjoy the views and setting Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, as well as very helpful when we arrived.

Cute little wine estate. The staff couple is extremely friendly and ready to help. Around the lodge is a cat paradise, the cats and dogs of the estate appreciate attention and cuddles if you approach them. The guest cottage is really nice, well equipped and clean. It offers several rooms should you be travelling with your family. Parking spots provided. The wine is excellent and the wine tasting with our host was very pleasant and interesting. I warmly recommend this place and would for sure visit again.

The owners are friendly & hospitable The accommodation is spacious and had everything we needed. We even received a a complimentary bottle of wine produced by the owner himself !! We were pleasantly surprised and will most definitely make use of this hidden gem.

Lovely renovated holiday home, clean and modern but in the traditional cottage style. in the middle of a wine farm with a nice pool and perfect bbq place. One of those hidden gems in Cape Town, and their wine is fantastic too! The owners are super friendly and approachable, there are some cats and dogs, old and the real family kind, our baby girl loved them!

Location, comfort and very friendly couple running the wine estate. Wine maker Rene shared all background stories of how certain wines came about and it was great to see his pride. Indeed, Jacaranda makes some exceptional wines!

These are just recommendations. The fridge was not working and a bit too small for the food we had. A new fit for the purpose fridge will make a difference. The WiFi is a hit and miss but I know this is something that the owner is working on. The couch is a bit hard especially the back rest. This may just be my own preference. Overall we were very satisfied with our time at Jacaranda estate.

Beautiful surroundings and views. The chalet was private and surrounded by vineyards. The bedrooms were spacious and each bedroom comes with an en suite. Showers are big and powerful. Taking into consideration the load shedding/black out the chalet has a gas stove and two chargeable lights. The owner deserves special mention...Birgitte was very attentive and due to the storm earlier that week, the swimming pool was out of bounds. To make up for this inconvenience we received a bottle of white and red wine with free wine tasting and biltong platter the next day. The wine tasting session was very informative and the host very patiently answered all our questions.
