You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Germanythe noise from the airplanes is something which comes along due to the location…..but the building structure is cheap hence one can hear next door’s noises and water pipe rushes ….ear plugs are recommended

And then lastly suplies for tea and coffee were at the most for 2 cups with very little sugar available …. Very very sad …. For a nice place …. I suspect run by a man …. No offense but it need the touch of a women …

South AfricaMisleading pics on the site Good day I would like to inform you that I did not stay at Journeys Inn. Firstly getting to the Inn was very difficult with roads closed off, this was not communicated beforehand. Upon my arrival at the Inn, we were allowed on to the premises without any verification. On my way to reception I noticed the rooms,from outside, were untidy. The reception area was also very untidy and had an old partially tattered chair. I informed the lady at reception that I was not happy with what I saw and that I would not be staying. I also asked why the pics on Booking was so misleading. The lady then went to call the manager. The manager, Alida, came to reception and asked me what was wrong. I informed her of the issues I had. She became defensive and said that pool and gardens were neat. I wasn't going to sleep in the gardens so obviously I was not impressed. I then informed her that I would not be staying and asked if it was possible to get a refund. She was rude and said it was not possible. She rudely said to me that the Inn was a 3 star accommodation and that if I wanted better I should have booked elsewhere. I told her that it's fine and that I would put in a review upon which she stated that she would reply to it. I would like to say that I did not get any refund and that I was appalled by the manager's response. I understand that I should have canceled before time but as I mentioned previously, I was mislead by the pics on the website. This whole experience has left me with a very bitter taste. Kind regards

South AfricaBreakfast was overpriced, and quality really low....from weak filter coffee to spoons in the jam jars expecting us to reuse the items after being used by other people, stale bread, terrible bacon and hashbrowns that were mushy.......the Breakfast overall needs an upgrade....
