We liked the friendly staff and the Karoo Style of the building.We also loved eating pizza at the restaurant around the pool and the warm evening climate. We loved the breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay here. An excellent place to unwind and relax after a long road trip. The weather was exceptionally hot on the day we were there. The aircon and fans were a real blessing.

A comfortable room with good aircon for the Karoo heat. The breakfast was good, as was the company of Liefie, the house mascot boxer. Unfortunately, I missed the pizza from their oven, so I will have to visit again.

Backyard requires attention but enough private parking is available.

Madeleine and her staff were very friendly. We stayed in room 2 and it was very clean and comfortable. There is attention to detail such as luggage benches. shelves and hangers. Very good breakfast included.

The room was very clean spacious and comfortable it was one of the Karoo Life cottages. Superb hosts and fabulous boxer dog called Liffey. We ate at the guest house in the evening on the stoep and the food was excellent. Lovely friendly atmosphere with other guests. Excellent breakfast - the largest fruit salad yogurt and museli I’ve ever encountered! My husband’s full English was also excellent.

all was good

lovely place, runs by a couple, green open spacious and country feel, has a deck over looking the pool, used for dining and chilling area, an outdoor pizza oven, and indoor lounge/ restaurant area. rooms are large ample beds, nice large bathroom area with good shower. a/c and ceiling fans. car park is inside the property. lovely staff very helpful and happy. hosts are friendly and easy to communicate , all was great 👍

The back yard and grounds are less appealing to the eye but still not too bad. Designated parking would also have been nice.

The heritage part of the property is very nice. Feels like you are dining in a historical building. bad

The breakfast was great! We stayed in Room 2 and it is definitely one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in! It had a massive shower! The owner, Madelein and her staff were exceptional! Many, many thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

I think some attention needs to be paid to the cleaning of the rooms. The floor was ‘gritty’ when we entered the room. We asked to move two beds together and once we’d done that, the floor underneath the bed hadn’t been vacuumed or clean for some time. All the window sills were dusty. Blinds on the windows were dusty. Blind on the door was broken. We did ask for the floor to be mopped which I think was done but then our room wasn’t serviced for the rest of our stay. Don’t know whether this is normal or not.

Location was good and secure off street parking a bonus. Spacious room. Sunsets from the garden - stunning.

Beautiful pool views and rooms were lovely and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast as well as the dinner options. Centrally located and nice and quiet.
