The parking was a little of an issue.

The staff was super helpful and the stay was very comfortable and the property very central.

Too close to the neighbours, if you want to have privacy.

We booked in short time notice, looking at the high numbers, but not at the last the reviews, which afterwards seemed quite bad. Nevertheless, we were positiv surprised. We did not stay in the main guest house, which looks a little dark, but in a room next to the road. In the room we noticed that we were seperatzed from the adjourning room only by a thin door, and so we could hear everything, what was said next to us. Also, everyone could easily get into our room, from the next room. But luckily, the neighbours become quit during the night. The room was small, but had coffee maker and fridge, bathroom was clean, towels and soap ok. If you trust the neighborhood, you can park the car right in front of your door, which makes transfers from and to the car easy. Staff was very friendly, breakfast is offred. The guesthouse seems to gather more for long time guests.

The unit was very cold at night. There is a mounted wall heater however, this is not sufficient. Lighting is good but side lamps, I would suggest yellow calmer lighting rather than the harsh white light bulbs.

Friendly and well organised on arrival. I appreciated the unit I stayed in unit one which had a well acquainted kitchenette. The location is great and provides the right balance of privacy and distance from the bussle of Beach Road.

No place really to pack out clothing or hanging them. No bathroom door and no shower door which makes it very messy.

The fact that they phoned us to ask what time they will be expecting us. Staff is very friendly! It's not loud at night, so one can get peaceful sleep.

The wooden floor of the upstairs room clearly has no soundproofing. The guests in that room were very loud and noisy. On the first morning of my stay (Saturday) they were up at 5am and walking with their shoes on sounded like a herd of buffalo! I had also requested off-street parking prior to my arrival. The manageress, however, told me when I arrived that the street parking was safe and that there was a surveillance camera.

The room was well appointed and comfortable and the breakfast very good.

There were a few minor details that could be rectified in order to bring the place up a level or 2, add an aircon or fan to tge bedrooms, ensure the fixtures (lights, toilet) is working correctly, put up a well between units for privacy, put a boundary wall for security as people walk asking for food.

Great location, right down the road from the beach, not even a 20 minute drive from Gordon's Bay (definitely recommend a slow drive to enjoy the view, nice modern and updated, super amazing and friendly staff
