Check in not allowed after 6pm. Not a problem for us but had we flown in on the day and travelled directly to St Lucia it could have been. That said, the staff are so nice I am sure an arrangement could be made even if it attracted a fee.

Just a lovely quirky place. Did not disappoint having stayed here 3 years ago. Rooms have varied decor and all are really nice, clean and comfortable Beautiful clean and clear swimming pool, sadly the weather did not oblige during our stay for us to use it. Breakfast is delicious and all staff are keen and wiling to help deliver your every need. Ideally suited for a stay In St Lucia. Our second time of staying here and we will be back again

We had such fun here we couldn't leave - ended up returning for a few extra nights. Hosts/team are extremely accommodating, friendly, informative and fun. The tropical gardens are perhaps the best I've seen anywhere (even beats tropical Costa Rica, Colombia, etc), and the breakfast, rooms and overall setting are superb. I wouldn't recommend staying anywhere else in St Lucia! (Go birding in the iGwalagwala trail)

The breakfast was fantastic, staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the rooms were so relaxing and peaceful with the sounds of birds/frogs/crickets a constant reminder of the nature surrounding St Lucia. We will definitely be back for another visit and recommend Lodge Afrique to anyone who is looking to travel to the area!

The lodge is beautiful especially with it's gorgeous jungle garden! Was truly fascinated while sitting outside. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Really a lovely place to stay especially over Christmas!

The staff is very helpfull & friendly, and really ensured that we had all the comfort we wished for. The garden is very beautiful! Walking home after dinner with hippo's roaming the streets was one of the best experiences of our holiday!

Beautiful environment, very friendly and helpful staff. The gardens are lovely, very thoughtfully laid out. Really enjoyed sitting on our private verandah at the end of every day to look at our photos. Location is excellent. Rooms are cool even in summer, very spacious and nice decor. Staff were very helpful with booking and recommending tours. Feels very secure too.

The botanic garden is not only beautiful, but with the occasional turtle or other small animals you will find, it makes the boardwalk to your room quite interesting, especially for kids. The breakfast is always something new and, more importantly, very tasty. My girlfriend told the staff that she disliked mushrooms while ordering breakfast on the first morning, and without saying anything the next days, her plates were always clean of them while the rest of us all got them. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the weather, but the owner had a lot of insight and was able to offer us some good information on what there is to do in and around Saint Lucia.

The chalets are located in a beautiful lush tropical garden. They are spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated in African style and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is luxurious with a separate bathtub and shower. The manager and staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions one might have. Breakfast is included in the price (which wasn't stated on this page, so it was a pleasant surprise). We were heading out early on tours every morning, and the manager made sure we received a tasty packed breakfast. It was the best accomodation of our three-week trip to South Africa and we have enjoyed our stay very much.
