Would need to tell people that there is a need for a 4x4 to enter the property, small cars will struggle. Shower was a bit small and the water temperature was difficult to regulate.

Bed was really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, staff was very welcoming and accommodating , daily room cleaning. The views was amazing and the premises was really well kept

The only thing that could possibly turn people away is the road to the venue. Due to it’s ‘hidden gem’ type location, it is burried between mountains, which makes it a little hard to reach.

The cabins are located next to a small lake in the middle of Magoebaskloof, which gives a beautiful view and a great peaceful experience.

Steps onto deck of cabin, 1st step broken. Drunk, load and hard music from neighbour cabin. Beer bottles all over the terrace. Drunk neighbours passing in front of my cabin, load and unpleasant. Its not up to me the guest whom came for peace and rest to complain, management should check on guests often to solve such issues. No privacy.

Toilet (or sewage system) needs to be fixed. The cabin had a bit of a smell everytime we walked in.

I loved the scenic views from the log cabin. Very cosy and comfortable for a couple. Staff was really friendly. Enjoyed the hike at the Magoebaskloof Getaway Hiking Trail (very scenic and safe). Closer to most attractions. Overall a wonderful experience.

what could have been better if they inform prior about changes, I was expecting to sleep on log cabins next to the dam. Unfortunately I was given a house next to the reception and I was told its a first come first serve basis.

location of the property is breath taking in the middle of the mountains , the morning breeze with different sound of the birds makes you feel complete with nature.

Difficult to find, especially at night, especially during a power outage. The road signs point to a different name of the same establishment. The log cabin was clean inside, but not necessarily cleaned on our arrival date. We needed to clean the chairs and table on the stoep to be able to make use of them

The Samango cabin was not well looked after and quite dirty, not on the same level as the rest op the great cabins on the property.

the manager was amazing, she went out of her way to help us. the cabins by the water are awesome, recommend booking there.

The road down to the cottages is dismal and difficult to navigate. Although we managed it, the road needs some upkeep for city dwellers used to better road conditions.

The cottage was lovely and we enjoyed the quietness and beautiful scenery. Great views of the pond and the mountains with trees all around. Thanks for a great adventure.

When the place was advertised it was indicated that there was a swimming pool. When we get there we were told that there was no swimming pool and there was never one. Booking.com is .isleading customers. It is a great place though we had a good time.

We thought we'd get breakfast unfortunately we were told that we make arrangements for breakfast with the bookings. We were not aware of that.
