The room was huge, the bed super comfy and the View over the estate and all the way to Tablet Mountain absolutely beautiful. Also the staff was amazing, they even offered us a little early breakfast on short notice because we had to leave early and arrived late the afternoon before.

Through no fault of the estate, a power substation blew in Stellenbosh, which meant we were without electricity and water from the evening until the day. Power had not been restored by the time we had checked out so that did put a damper on our experience

When we arrived at the property the staff 'upgraded' us to a different room as the room we initially booked was small and far from buzz of the estate. The room had its own deck, which made it perfect for a morning cup of coffee and chat. The room was well stocked and had all the amenities, we particularly enjoyed the wine in our room even though we didn't make it for the wine tasting, which was included in our stay. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety to choose from. Though we didn't swim the pool had the perfect background for social media photos.

The bedroom was open plan with the bathroom and the lavatory. A bath in the bedroom is OK but I’m old fashioned enough to prefer a door to the loo! Dinner was unbelievably slow, and breakfast was much the same; luckily we weren’t in a hurry. The food was OK, but not brilliant.

Gorgeous setting in a vineyard in the heart of the wine country. The room rate included breakfast and a delightful wine tasting, paired with biltong, which was given by a young French intern.

Not easily accessible for people with mobility problems. And it’s hard to get an Uber from/to because it’s far off the main road. Had to tip extra to ensure being picked up

Amazing place, we stayed in the house a bit down from the main building (small stroll through the orchard). Great space with public kitchen, garden and a great pool. Plus it’s a vineyard so what’s not to like?

I liked my stay in Marianne Wine Estate. My room was very specious and cozy. The bathroom had two showers and a bathtub. Breakfast was delicious. I would like to come back.
