There is nothing I didn't like.

The establishment is very well situated close to the Sandton CBD. The rooms are simple, smallish but adequate, clean, and comfortable. It is very secure, staff are very helpful and available. It is very good value for money. For me, it is a perfect place to stay for a short business trip in Johannesburg. Breakfast is extra, but reasonably priced and very good.

No individual remote access to the property. You always have to ask/wait for staff to open the gate which is quite tedious and inconvenient. Very limited breakfast options.

The guest house is cozy and very well-decorated. The pool and garden area is absolutely stunning!

Dinner on first day took a long time to prepare. Room 5 discovered some type of bug on first night. AC did not operate during load shedding.

Room 1. Beautiful, though furniture too squeezed together, bed can be placed by the window to open up space. Desk by the mirror next to the wardrobe. Curtains and railing needs tending. Tea station can improve, wooden trays instead of plastic floral trays.

My room was directly opposite the reception, I felt a bit awkward at first.

Location was great in Sandton City, felt safe as there is gate and guard. Staff were very welcoming. The room was quite spacious. I didn’t have time to enjoy, but they have a pool and big living room space where you can relax.

The room was big, with a nice bed. The bathroom was really nice. But the best of the place was the crew, they were really nice and helpful anytime we needed. They also gave us an option to get breakfast packed when we needed to leave early.

Booked a room ifor 2 adults ncluding breakfast, but when we got there, we were told breakfast is only for one person . Some guests might not understand this narrative and I would suggest you update your online offerings accordingly so it doesn't lead to misleading information or false advertising. Other than that all is good.

If the geysers for the hot water were connected to solar power that would be better.

The property is powered by solar panels so there was no interruption at all by the power cuts in the city (load shedding). The location is tranquil while also being close to the centre of Sandton which is a huge advantage. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable looked great too. Everything was clean.

the big problem is when you choose those 2 rooms outside you can listen noise from the next room people talking ou making their games.

I am a scholar and a policy maker. So I will be very blunt and honest. The working staff I dealt with were Black people and were excellent. However, one of the bosses, perhaps the owner, a White woman was quite unpleasant. Her look, action and body language were nasty. First time I noticed this I did not make much of it. But on my last morning there, she found me conversing with another guest over breakfast, said no word, made a face and turned down the tv volume without a word. I am the one who had put the tv on so I could watch news. Then I wanted to buy a phone from the mall and they needed proof that I stayed at the property. She simply refused. I was shocked. This was such a simple and harmless request. So next time I am likely to avoid this property because of her. If she does not want to entertain Black guests she must state it. Her bad attitude was only tempered on balance by a White old man there, a relative of hers I guess. This is a descent human being who advised me on shopping in Sandton. May God keep this man.

All the members of staff were excellent. They went out of their way yo help, even getting a cab for me. Much appreciated.

I honestly don’t want to say any negative thing because the place is clean, friendly helpful stuff just that the bed is not too comfy they just need to change that part only
