The bedrooms, one looked out onto a small bin/ utility ‘yard’, the other was on walk through route and parking area affording no privacy. The meal in the restaurant was chaotic, slow and disjointed although the waitress was lovely.

Very comfortable and well equipped room Mimosa Lodge offers a guided tour map for Montagu, so we walked for an hour or so and we saw all places of interest which are well described. Super idea and a very nice walk! But the very best was evening dinner: fine dining which has been something else. Wonderful!

I think the time has come for the building to be revamped. The shower door should be removed as it will soon be smashed by hitting the toilet when opened.

The breakfast was very good. The location is convenient for walking around the attractive part of town. The staff were very helpful.

I had reserved the Garden Suite and a Classic Room. On arrival, we were made to stay in an apartment-style unit. Modern, 2-bedrooms with kitchen, etc. - separate from the lodge. The clerk who checked us in claimed that Booking.com had upgraded us. LOL. Booking.com doesn't do that. He wouldn't tell me why we couldn't have the garden suite or classic room which I had reserved. The apartment had ants, no wifi, and zero character. Then we were charged full amount on departure when I had previously paid half in advance. If I hadn't remembered, we would have been double charged.

The breakfast was delicious and the woman who served us was very friendly!

shower water was cold, our stay included breakfast but the waitress brought eggs n burnt bacon then we had to request mushrooms , no tomatoes and we were not asked whereas other guests she did.

The room allocated was certainly not the accommodation paid for. The room was dark, dingy, had serious damp in places and only accessible via another guest room ! Afrr complaining was allocated an apartment however I feel that I should have had the cost of first night fully refunded. The entire room and bathroom was photographed and is available for publication.

Kitchen was not well kitted out. Breakfast was not well explained the waitress offered us only bacon and eggs, whilst other guest got offered other options.

I stayed in a new apartment that had not been fully set up yet. A few things were missing but provided upon request. The WiFi connection was poor and water heater was not working well but Mr.Brie and MsBisa made sure all our concerns were addressed and they did their best to make our stay very comfortable.

The location was great. Mimosa Lodge is located in a beautiful, quiet, very clean town. The scenery was breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. My children enjoyed the breakfast most.

Location was perfect. Beautiful old style hotel. Great breakfast. And the hamburger was the best I ever had. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the veranda to sit on.

Breakfast was superb!! Bed comfortable.Staff very friendly and helpful.Beautiful garden to sit and enjoy the quiet and beauty.Albert, the ghost, was on duty and we felt very safe when we heard him patrolling the hall.
