Nothing was bad. Exept there was a loud group comming one if the days. They were drunk and noise ruined the Safari experience for the other guests.

The security company that runs the reserve are a disgrace. They tried to intimidate me on leaving the reserve to pay a ludicrous R 3000 speeding fine. They tried to detain me on leaving the reserve until I paid. I had to call my Lawyer to get myself released. Probably a reason for me not to go back sadly. Can you imagine if our overseas tourists are subjected to the same treatment???

No guides were available for walking tour.. Dinners are cafeteria style and could be improved, but ok. Game drive through Kruger were not available as the bridge was closed. However, Mjejane Park S enough to see by itself and borders Kruger and animals move around.

needs maintenance. wooden doors and windows difficult to open and need replacement soon. Food mostly buffet and very unimaginative.

As South Africans it felt we were on the backend of service. Cutlery during service not accessible. Never offered drinks at dinner and when you go get your own they ask you to get from the waiter, which was difficult.

my one criticism was that the swimming pool wasn’t particularly clean but it was winter so probably not high time for people jumping in the pool.

amazing value for money for us through booking.com we arrived around 1pm and had lunch and by the time we’d finished lunch and looking at the crocodiles and hippos our room was ready. our room was spacious and the staff showing us around the lodge were great. we had two fantastic game drives with a guide called December who was good fun and saw 4 of the big 5 very close up which was magical and a traditional boma dinner which was also great.

Plumbing needs a bit of attention. Taps in the room are lose. toilet plumbing outside room is leaking.

Food was great, service excellent, with a smile:) Field Guide was super friendly and accommodating. Position along the river was great. Well maintained communal area. Loved the daily warthog visit.

The game reserve has somewhat limited animals, but managed to see Leopard, lion, Rhino etc.

Amazing location with spectacular views over the Crocodile river. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the meals were tasty and of a high standard. Our game ranger Musa was a star and very professional, he tried very hard to find us some leopard the only animal of the big 5 we missed. We drank some cocktails around the pool while watching Elephant drink water from the river with grunts from the hippos below in the river.
