The best stay in Cape Town. Chase and Michelle were just amazing. The room was amazing, clean and the vibe in Casa del Sonder is great. We really liked their restaurant recommendations and the cappuccino is the best. Breakfast was just as wonderful as well. Thank you guys so much for everything. We would come back anytime! 10/10

Hands down, Casa del Sonder is a true gem and one of the nicest hotels we stayed in SA! We absolutely loved this place, especially, the stunning views from the rooftop terrace overlooking Bo-Kaap and the Table Mountain. Oh gosh, such a treat!Sadly, it was too cold to benefit from the pool but this place offers the perfect spot for sundowners! Super central location, very clean facilities, the staff is amazing/friendly, the interior just wonderful. If you are coming to Cape Town, you must stay here!

I don’t like dragging my luggage upstair lol

During my overnight stay at Casa Del Sonder before heading to Montagu, I experienced exceptional service from the staff, particularly a girl who patiently waited for my late check-in. It's advisable to inform the hotel if you anticipate arriving after their standard check-in time. The hotel itself is delightful, with charming interiors that any photographer would appreciate. The colors, furnishings, and attention to detail create a visually appealing atmosphere. The hotel is located next to a mosque, and the frequent prayer calls throughout the day may disturb those who require extended periods of sleep. Nonetheless, as someone who has traveled to Istanbul before, this wasn't an issue for me. The paid breakfast was a highlight of my stay, with made-to-order dishes served with care. Additionally, the quaint coffee shop downstairs added to the overall charm of the establishment. A pleasant surprise was encountering a group of friendly children on their way to school or the mosque, who even asked me to take their photo. This interaction added a personal touch to my experience, and I look forward to reconnecting with them on my next visit to the area.

Honestly, It's one of the best accomodation I've ever booked through booking !

Our booking experience was fantastic! The location was perfect, the room was clean and comfortable, and the welcome we received was warm and genuine. You need to take Uber everywhere, doesn’t feel so safe to walk. V&A Waterfront is a 10 minute Uber Ride, I thought it would be walkable but the city isn’t setup that way. Location is still very good and central.

Homely family vibe with two very warm owners - Chad and Michelle. Lovely and eclectic decorated rooms. Nice communal living room. Comfy beds and great family room with three beds.

The location is somewhat noisy at night given that it's close to the center of town - we heard quite a bit of police sirens. It looks like there's a police car pound across the way.

This was a perfect centrally located choice for us for a 1-night stay in Cape Town. The place is charming and has everything we needed. We left behind an item and the staff were kind enogh to keep it for us for collection on our way back - this is very much appreciated! :-)

It was my 2nd time staying at Casa del Sonder - both for about 1 week each. Very chilled, nice decor (and even some nice new touches vs a year ago), rooftop with beautiful views, great location, and lovely staff! It almost feels like a home away from home :)

Lovely location and facilities - the family room was great for four of us. Breakfast on the roof was excellent. We were unfortunately only able to stay one night, but would have happily stayed on.

The property was nicely situated in a safe district of Cape Town. The beautiful and colorful Bo Kaap district is right behind the hotel, just a few minutes walking away. The staff was amazing, Michelle and her employees are super caring and attentive, very easy and uncomplicated to communicate with, I had an amazing time staying with them and definitely would come here again!

It is a tiny bit noisy due to police station, street and mosque.

Wow, this small, familiar and cosy hotel is a hidden gem! Fantastic staff! Best location for visiting central Cape Town and Bo Kaap. Cooling small pool on the roof top where you can relax with a beer from the honesty bar. Or have breakfast in the morning. Thank you for storing our luggage and letting us take a shower before leaving for the airport in the evening!
