The photos don't really give a true representation. There was hardly anything to do. The pool area is much smaller than it looks and gets full quickly. The games room has no place for food or drinks and is quite secluded. Restaurant was dismal. The unit we stayed in was more like a caravan park than Lodge. Kitchen was damp and cupboards smelled, dust and bugs everywhere. The hottest room (loft) didn't even have a fan to help with the heat. When it rained there was no cover over the deck so we were stuck inside. The bathroom was icky and the floors were all sticky throughout. Ive been to a number of Gooderson resorts and this one really fell flat. I only saw 2 staff members on entry and they were very friendly but that's the only time we saw anyone.

The rooms were Clean, very comfortable and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help in making our stay enjoyable I highly recommend it for anyone visiting downtown.

The mananger of the place is undermining and disrespectful. Racially discriminating. The Rooms are too small and so are the beds. The house is not as it looked on pictures. Rules are not the same as the ones written online.

The unit is in desperate need of a makeover.

So badly maintained, the only redeeming thing about the space was the staff, it was tiny, with a broken table bench combination, mismatched taps, doors that didn't open from the inside, clear glass slats in the bathroom so outside neighbours could see in, and unbelievably noisy neighbours with their motorbikes.

We loved that it was super private and the private beach and the nature was amazing.

Everything was perfect as it is a forest Lodge and it does not need too much change. Let the nature be as we leave in the cities and places have changed alot.

The place is perfect for people who are working alot as it is ideal for a vacation. Fresh air every minute as the trees are refreshing the atmosphere. Nature at it's best can be experienced at Mtunzini.

A little maintenance required to the chalets.

The walking trails and beach are spectacular! We loved the braai facilities. Loved the privacy - the staff are friendly and happy. Sydney - the maintenance man was absolutely fantastic. I’m We enjoyed a great mini golf family tournament !

Bedding felt damp / wet the first night and had to complain. Location where they let us stay was bad when all other chalets was open. Alot of stairs in the dark and the lights outside and at the stairs are not working making it very dangerous to walk at night especially for our college that is in his late 60's. The alarm was also not working.

our Toilets 🚽 room 19 it’s need to be fixed.it’s blocked.Room 20 had no lights for LOAD-SHEDDING back up like room 19.

The Rooms very clean,staff very friendly and helpful.The pool 🏊‍♀️ & beach 🏖 very clean.It’s a very peaceful place to visit and spend quality time with your family and relax.I love the forest 🌳 going to the beach 🏖 it’s a nice exercise with the family that we enjoyed the most.The beautiful view in the morning hearing the birds 🦅.The Shower 🚿 love the hot water 💦 and very clean towels.The beds 🛌 linen very clean.The light 💡 for LOAD-SHEDDING we had in room 19 it’s was very helpful.Kids enjoyed too much the pool 🏊‍♀️,slides 🛝 & all the games on the pool area.Fans working perfectly.

There was no water in the place. An it was hard for that situation even to use toilet is was a problem they don't provide even drinking water, we didn't bath from Friday. The issue of water spoil our mood
