We enjoyed the calm and relaxing environment in nature, especially being able to see the sunrise in the morning from my bedroom view. The walking trail had nice views and we enjoyed seeing the different plant species along the trail. Lastly the food was very delicious and very pleasing to the eye :)

Nothing was bad about Naries, we loved it :-)

The lodge was situated about 25km West of Springbok. The lodge has been carefully restored but keeping the original features and providing some very nice modern facilities (AC etc) The food at the lodge was superb and cooked to perfection by the resident chef each day. Each morning we had an excellent freshly prepared breakfast cooked to order (Ordered previous evening) All of the staff were helpful and accommodating (especially Shannon) and were on hand for anything needed

The distance from Cape Town, great stop over if you’re on route to Namibia/Cape Town or Augrabies.

An awesome view, peace and quite with genuine Namaqualand hospitality. Yummy food. Saw springboks in the distance and woke up to Gemsboks walking past our hut on the mountain. Earthy place and good people.

Naries is perfectly located for travelers wanting to see Kleinzee, Port Nolloth and Hondeklipbaai. We stayed in the self catering house which had all the necessary amenities for our stay. The house is beutifully located and extremely pieceful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved our stay there and will recommend it to anyone.

Nothing real, but you could do with more souvenir.

Landscape and the thatch rooms were the draw card for us…and the wild life and the weaver birds were a delight in the morning when having breakfast.

    Nothing - perfect

The location and thatched domes were truly magical. If this venue was closer to Cape Town the prices would be three times higher - what an amazing spot!

Supper was R485 per person and consisted of a choice between potjiekos and Thai Chicken curry. For the price per person, we expected something gourmet? To me the dinner was a rip off.

It was a self-service chalet. We did enjoy the chalet and the beautiful surrounds. staff was very friendly but WIFI only worked intermittently. A warm fire was there to welcome us. A welcome retreat after a long day

From the self catering unit we stayed in there was some road noise. Not many cars but if you want a 100% wild experience then probably stay in the huts, rather.

Incredibly beautiful setting with everything you need and yet no sense of clutter. The staff could not have been more helpful. The night skies were amazing and the sundowner setting is one of the best I have experienced, anywhere. I would return just for that. The walks were very well signposted, varied and beautiful. We stumbled on lots of game, too, which was an added bonus.
