It was beyond my expectations no complaints

Vinthi and her team made my stay pleasant and comfortable. The room was very clean and comfy. They also offered free Muffins , cereal, tea or coffee for refreshment and unlimited access to the kitchen which was really dity aswell. I will highly recommend this facility.

Everything! The private room was very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen and living room areas are great. Vinthi is the sweetest and kindest host. Always available/present, welcoming and happy to share conversations. She is amazing! I had a wonderful time.

Vinthi and her family + staff were really friendly and welcoming. We felt like home immediately. Our room was clean and well-equipped as well as the kitchen. The backpackers is situated very central and close to the beach. Vinthi gave us great recommendations for the area and we enjoyed chatting with her. Thank you!

Everything is amazing there. The owners are the kindest people I've ever met. I traveled in more than 115 countries but I've never met so nice people. The room was very clean, comfortable.. Vinthi, the owner, is the entire day around, she helped me with a lot of things. She even asked her husband to give me a lift early in the morning. The area is very safe, we walked every night to the restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

The location of the lodge is very strategic - it is super close to the main street. Vinthi, the owner, and her family members are super lovely - They helped me call some restaurants and check whether they sell bobotie. That's super nice of the family! The room is super spacious, clean, and comfortable. There are also plenty of parking spaces.

We really like the place and we would like to come back again. It is a very cozy and clean place and the location was very good. The owner, Vinthi, is a super nice and helpful lady. She had great recommendations for the Plett area. She also helped us a lot since we needed to work remotely. The connection was good. We are super happy to meet Vinthi and her family. I think it's a great place to stay for backbackers with very good prices. Definitely recommend it.

Very secure neighborhood with very lovely and helpfull stuff - you have your own parking place, common kitchen...and the beds are very comfy. Great value for money

The owner arrived the minute I rang. She showed me my room. I wasn't expecting anything like that. I had a balcony and view of the whole city and the ocean. This a pool inside. So the weather was not so nice I could have a swim. Everything is well done so the customers are very happy and welcoming.

Staying in Nothando Backpackers was truly an amazing experience. The hosts was extremly kind and helpful. The accomodation was cosy and well-equipped, filled with nice people from all around the world. The room was lovely too, very comfortable. The location was excellent, close to the city centre, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend to stay in this lovely place.

They are the sweetest family, their hospitality is endless. Vinthi will do anything to make sure you have a nice stay. They have a lot of info about all the activities and transportation in the area. Many restaurants and the beach on walking distance. Also, they keep the dorms very clean!

There’s is not much we did not like. Vinthi, my dad says the room needs a mini fridge and TV ;) We stayed in rooms 6,5 and 3. I would say room 5’s bathroom could benefit from some cosmetic & aesthetic enhancements to complement the lovely bedroom.

The location is great, walking distance to the high street with restaurants and shops. We also walked to central beach, the way back is the hard part ;) A busy taxi rank is located near the property but it’s dead quiet in the evenings. We felt safe walking in the area and also staying at the property. The property offers secure parking with a parking space for each room. The beds were super comfortable and spacious. Our rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and as we stayed 10 nights, fresh bedding provided every 3rd day. The cleaning service was a great bonus! Vinthi and Steve are wonderful hosts, they made as feel so welcome, they made and served us cocktails in the evening even gave my father medicine when he was unwell. Personally we feel Nothando is so much more than a backpackers, maybe change the dorm into a family room ;) We highly recommend Nothando, it’s great value for money!
