Absolutely everything. This was the best place that we have stayed in Africa Bar none. loved the staff, loved the view, loved the food, loved the general experience. We would absolutely come again.

The only thing I wasn’t so keen on was the air conditioning in the safari tents. It didn’t really seem necessary, isn’t very environmentally friendly and was very loud! Would be better to install ceiling fans.

Beautiful lodge with choice of different rooms on a small private game reserve. We opted for a luxury safari tent with private plunge pool. It was amazing! Beautifully furnished with private bathroom, comfortable king sized bed, well stocked mini bar and complimentary tea, coffee and water. The room rate included breakfast and dinner which were also amazing. Great choice of food that was delicious and well presented. An evening game drive and morning bush walk were also included and these were expertly led by knowledgeable guides. We saw so much wildlife with the highlight being a leopard cooling off next to a small pond. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this lodge and hope we will return again soon!

Absolutely in love with Phelwana! Definitely recommend and I hope to come back soon. The quality of the meals and rooms, the beauty of the animals walking around freely and the unbelievable attention to details of the staff made our first safari in family the most perfect experience. I thank each one of the staff members for making this holiday a dream for us.

Oh, the food. 😭 The presentations looked good, but yoh. It’s really not 4 star.

Chose this place for the seclusion it offers. The tent was basically on the lake and far (but a walkable distance) from reception. So we were in our own little world but could opt for human interaction if we wanted to. Tent was clean, had an aircon, an outdoor shower, a little splash pool, an amazing view and we had visitors from all sorts of animals. It was just so delightful.

Exceptionally stunning place. The views are fantastic with nature's elegance on full view. The tents are beautiful with the luxury of a private pool. The game drives are a fun way to unwind and experience other levels of nature.

The ants at room, all over our feet, into our shoes,in the car, Just everywhere!! The evening menu should include dishes not regularly prepared at home!! Prawns, calamari, something different!!! The vegies was so hard, not chewable!! That was not aldente but raw!!!

Unreal and amazing experience to stay in an accomodation with wild animals roaming around without any fence in between. Morning bush walk and evening bush drive are included. The tour guide did an amazing job. Do not expect a Kruger Park experience with completely wild animals. This place is more like an extraordinary, extremely large, petting zoo with exotic animals (although I would not recommend petting the animals).

This is my second stay at this lodge and was once again exceptional. Great staff, great meals, great private pool. Staff arranged game drives into Kruger and Manyeleti parks with seamless transfers/pick ups

The staff was amazing, they go an extra mile to assist guests. The lodge is beautiful, i cant fault anything. We were luck to be greeted by animals driving in and out of the Lodge. We are definitely coming back.

We were there for two days, first day, breakfast, dinner & service was very good, second day it was not so good. Also we did not like that we could not switch off outside lights ? (maybe we could not find the light switch?)

Not really a dislike but the pool by the tent is too small maybe if they can consider an alternative bigger pool for guests to use within the premises The gravel road to and from the premises, would really recommend a 4x4 as noted on the site

We liked everything about the place the staff,Jeffery and Flora had taken every good care of us and had attention to detail. Jef is world class and he made sure we are comfortable. Although our tent wasn't by the river bank to see more animals as they come to drink water we still could see animals passing by. We had an amazing time relaxing outside the tent after our morning walk, it was really nice, the nature sound and atmosphere did the things @Ashleigh and team thanks for accommodating and catering for us, really appreciate the over and above on Saturday
