Dinner left a little something to be desired (though breakfast was delicious) and plates were cleared away so quickly during our meals it felt a bit rushed (though I really appreciated how Lynette kept me well-stocked on coffee! Much thanks 🙏) But other than that, amazing place and people!

The view, the room, the tub, the game drive… lovely and epic. The staff are great! Beautiful lodge, sunset game drive with TJ was fantastic (elephants, rhinos, drink cooler and snacks, sunset, everything!), lots of thought put into every aspect of the experience by the staff (greeted with welcome drinks, rose petals, dinner and breakfast set up was lovely) and felt very welcomed.

The gravel road to the place which is 7km but you are able to drive in it with small or big car

The wifi did not connect in our room also we experienced power cuts at some point and it was very hot because we could not switch on the aircon.

It felt like home from home - Alida and TJ were hosts extraordinair. They felt like family. The staff were amazing, attentive and caring. The accommodation is out of this world - loved it. As for the scenery from my room - all I can say is Wow.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made great memories. From the moment we arrived Theuns, Alida and staff made us feel special and they were extremely attentive. The lodge has a very serene ambience and rest and relaxation is at the order of the day. The game drives were magnificent and Theuns is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to nature and wildlife. The food was excellent and the chef made sure that all our personal requests were met. The service was flawless and we had an unforgettable time. In fact we have been raving about our experience to all our friends - encouraging them to come to your marvellous lodge. Special thanks to Theuns and Alida who made us feel like family, they are a great asset for the lodge. Phumelo Game Lodge make sure to retain your staff. They make the place worth the superlative experience.

Bathroom bin wasn't emptied when we checked in. AC wasn't working, room was very cold. We were given a fan heater.
