Location isn’t the best. Definitely need a car to get around as it’s a bit far from shops/restaurants.

A stunning property, expertly decorated. The breakfasts are first class, and the service goes above and beyond. I felt both surrounded by comfort and luxury, and completely at home. It's spotless, everyone is extremely friendly, and there's also two wonderful dogs which are an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay to arrive in Cape Town We stayed here for our first 4 nights and we just had the greatest time! The view from our room was amazing, overlooking the harbor of Hout Bay. The breakfast prepared by the hosts was a highlight (especially the bread!) and it was the best breakfast of our entire vacation. The host’s restaurant recommendations were great and they helped us having the most amazing time in Cape Town. We recommend this Guest House to everyone!

The Guest House has a great view on Houtbay and the location is very nicely located between the different attractions around Cape Town. But aside of the practicallities, the two hosts running this house give you a very warm welcome and you can really be at ease and feel at home during your stay. I would therefore very much recommend to stay here when you want to visit Cape Town and surroundings!

Danie and Janni were the perfect hosts. Very welcoming, gave us lots of tips on local restaurants, places to visit etc. Delicious breakfast. Very comfortable bedroom with great views, lovely garden and their home is beautifully decorated. We adored having the dogs around us, perfectly behaved 🥰 Thank you both.

I guess this is a more cape town thing rather than specific to this property. The general ‘not safe at night’ theme is probably as applicable to this property as it is to any other in Cape Town.

Attention to detail and the personal touch and warmth that Danie and Janni bring to the property. Not to mention the stunning Hout Bay views!

Driveway & parking was tight. If your not a dog person, the dogs will bother you as they are in the house. Area will bother some locals. House is full of statues (Idols) that could bother some people.

Friendly staff. Wonderful view from room & pool. Breakfast was good. Room was comfy. OLD-age furniture...not my style but all worked well. Shower gel smells amazing. Complimentary coffee & drinks were served during our stay

The guesthouse was very nicely decorated with art, antiques etc. The whole guesthouse was so beautiful. The view exceptional and the owners were very kind, friendly and helpful. The dogs and cat lovely and the breakfast was prepared 5*.
