Basics like shower cap & soaps were missing from the room. Instead empty boxes were placed there. Not sure what that was about

I didn't have breakfast but hoped to have instant coffee. No satchets were available

Nothing was there to be disliked.

The staff was warmly friendly, very welcoming especially Sizwe. OMG, that guy was just home from the get go. He took care of us from the time we walked through the door. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious including the bathroom, it was home away from home. The food was exceptional, compliments to the chef, their breakfast and lunch and dinner.😘😘😊😊😊😘😊Delicious. Definitely coming back. The location don't get me started, it is life and money saving. Their rooftop pool to die for,it was perfectly setup up just for me

The airconditioning system needs attention. It’s a very old building and this is expected. Perhaps it requires more than just a painting.

Big rooms, it was great to have a balcony in the front of the room with sea view. Breakfast was delicious. Nice rooftop with pool, great to relax with a breeze of wind when it’s hot.

The breakfast could be better,the fruit salad was not up to standard, the fruit was raw,hard and not yummy and lacking in variety . For a Sun International standard... it's just a 👎

The dinner was excellent, all the meals my family had was very delicious 😋. The food was well prepared and tasty!

The window in the room wasn't completely shut, possibly needed repairing so there was a little noise. The tea/coffee serving in the morning was a little slow. The bar closing at 10pm was a bit too early and disappointing but these were just minor issues.

The room was very spacious and there was a very good selection for the included breakfast. The reception staff were very helpful.

The rooms are a little dated and the shower could be better

The breakfast had a great selection of both hot and cold food. The bed in the superior room was large and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

All these extra charges for an ocean facing room, car parking charges should be communicated well in time before arrival.

My last two nights were horrible. We couldn't sleep because of the noise coming out of one the rooms(111). Twice we reported to the security but they failed stop the noise and people in that room were disrepectful and rude.

The Hotel is in a good location and the Hotel Staff was very good.

Aircon was hopeless Had to move 3 times bcos of aircon and Size of room they put me in was tiny Rain came into our room via closed windows I mean seriously Toilet was broken 3 times Aircon was terrible Had 5 technicians out but still suffered in the Durban heat Yet the management failed to upgrade us to a sea facing room Insisting we shud pay R1000 Xtra But the inconvenience I suffered from moving to 3 different rooms and all the problems Was far more than a R1000 Rands When booking ask them if aircons are working 100 % If not book elsewhere Their fridges was not working All my stuff went bad My fruit and food went off Complained three times they changed te fridge twice Not cool Too many issues THE EDWARD NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER OR ELSE THEY WONT BE GETTING MY BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE I GENUINELY THINK THEY DONT GO THE XTRA MILE the iron was also not working properly I stayed for 7 days and had problems from day one. However Management failed to give me a free upgrade to sea facing I had far more problems I don't think I'll be staying here again 😠 😡 👿 😤

The air-conditioning was not working, its was very noisy. We had to change the room after 22:00 because it was very hot.

The second room was worth it 👌

Weather was very bad

Breakfast was superb. Everything that my kids and I were expecting was there, and more. Unfortunately I was not feeling well , but my children enjoyed so much.
