Probably the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever come across so had to sit on the bed. During load shedding there are no led lights provided as they said guests had been stealing them. why not charge a deposit then?You can’t expect people to sit in the dark for 2 hours! Thankfully Mojo market is very close by and they have a generator. It’s a great place for food drinks and music and show football on big screens

The room (A5) opened up onto the indoor pool, so there was a slight smell of chlorine. The main door towards the lobby isn't fully sealed, so noise does leak in if people are loud outside. Also the A/C unit wouldn't stay on, so the room was a bit warm and stuffy.

Location was great... walkable to lots of places, the tourist bus stops across the street, Mojo Market is around the corner. The room was nicely sized for the price and the bed was really comfortable.

Given the loadshedding, I would have preferred to have a light or torch of some sort supplied during my stay even though the corridors have light during loadshedding. Furthermore, there's limited cleaning service on weekends which is a slight inconvenience.

The staff are very friendly and helpful; Lauren was a star always available to assist. The location is perfect especially if you're looking for a beachfront getaway. It's close to numerous restaurants and attractions. The restaurant was great, the staff were friendly and the food was good. I loved my room particularly the easy access to the heated pool.

Some of the facilities and equipment were a bit aged, for example the locks on the windows were very old and indeed one of the closers on the bedroom window was missing so I couldn’t close the window. The downside of the great location is it’s a bit noisy at night. Also, staff were sparse to find on the Sunday shift when I was checking out.

Riviera suites were clean, modern and minimalist and the apartments were super well-equipped - all you need for a great stay. Location was superb and very close to a range of shops, eateries and the Mojo Market.

checkin was a bit awkward, staff are a bit rough around the edges. rooms are very well appointed but require some attention in the bathrooms, nespresso machine was kind of pointless as pods aren’t supplied, scant selection of coffee no cutlery , big cockroaches ☹️
