Visitors parking in our dedicated parking. Couldn't get into our vehicle the morning due to visitors cars squeezed into parkings.

The only thing I did not like was have one parking lot for the holiday how as we were a group of six traveling with two vehicles. It would be nice to atleast reserve two parkings for the holiday home

Rooms are clean and spacious. Kitchen was fully equipped, which made it convenient for preparing our meals.

Place was neat and cosy. The parking was safe and within an enclosed perimeter. The host was courteous and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to use the unit again.

The owners should consider that overseas guests are not all familiar with the SA loadshedding power cuts. No generator on the property or alternative power supply. So as the self catering facilities are all electric, they were mostly useless to me during my 12 days stay, with stage 5 Loadshedding being a 2-3 times daily occurence. A torch, candles and a timetable of power cut schedules isn't too much to expect surely? But the lovely Celeste was very helpful in spite of the owner's lack of due diligence

Very well serviced accommodation with friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We will stay again without a doubt. Keep it up Leigh and Cindy ;-)

The stove units needs some upgrading as it trips the power when simultaneously using the kettle. Bookings.com advertising the Cidar Place Unit as a double room for 4 adults causes confusion as we expected 2 separate rooms in a unit and Ocean View location is not communicated as separate from the rest of the units (different block opposite the street) Minor alterations to walkways and guttering is required, in case of inclement weather, however the manager has highlighted that it is in progress. Overall, there is very little to dislike about the "Rose and Ale", and we would definitely recommend/ or return for a visit in the future.

Location is close to the beach and central to the malls. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager was very kind and accommodating, especially when we highlighted some areas of concern. "Elaine" the manager offerred us the opportunity to move to a differentunit so that the entire family can be closer together when the other tenants moved out at nil cost.. The WiFi was simply excellent,simple and convenient.

Due to load shedding I think it would be good to have other sources of energy for light and cooking.

The location is very good few meters from sea and its also quiet area good for family and children.

The kitchen area was compact but very well designed. Every facility was there, plus there was a counter/work space.

Great lock up and go location. We were there for less than 24hrs. The secure garden was great for our dog. The location was excellent and the beds very comfortable.
