Breakfast & Location for shopping was exceptional

My Bathtub clog wasn't functioning and on the one night I wanted to soak off a long conferencing day, I wasn't able to.

Had a pleasant two night stay extension from a work trip. I enjoyed the convinience of having Sandton City mall right 'next door' and the fact that I could haul my shopping back to the hotel room and! go back for more. A shopper's dream.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect

The property is cozy & accommodating. Like, everything is at the hotel & within proximity. You can actually have a great time without actually leaving the hotel. Rooms are very clean & maintained to the highest standard. Furniture is new as well but the lobby & other common areas are outstanding. Roof top views for the evening & whatever overlooking Sandton. I was personally impressed

We didn’t like the beds. They are very old and tired. They are not comfortable.

The breakfast is very nice. The location is very good and very well organized. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The stay was spectacular.

What I didn't like about the hotel was that some floors were unavailable due to ongoing renovations. I also had to change rooms at one point, which was inconvenient.

I had an incredible experience at the Sandton Sun and Towers! The hotel was fantastic, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again.

My stay was beyond my expetations. I stayed in room 1258 and forgot a very important book titled- (Leadership in Organisations by Gary Yuk ) on my desk with a Covid-19 vaccination certificate in it. The only complaint I have regarding the room is the lighting. During the day, with the curtains open, it's sufficient but at night, it's too dark. Additionally, the bed side switches do not work properly; so the only way to turn off all the lights is to turn off the main switch near the front door. The problem if you do this is that it is then impossible to have light in the bathroom, which means that you have to turn on the lamps in the room if you want to, for example, go to the toilet at night, with the risk of waking your partner; wuith all the consequences that this entails. :) This may be a problem specific to my room but I believe it is general since I have seen similar comments.

Quick and efficient check-in, as well as check-out. - The bed is large and very comfortable. I really liked the pillows. - Nice large room with all the necessary equipment (TV, fridge, iron, safe, kettle, ... ). - Complimentary water, coffee, tea, and 4 cartons of milk... everything replaced evey day. - Access to the Sandton City mall from the 10th floor. - Bathroom with bathtub and shower and separate toilet - Bathrobes - Wifi - Attentive staff.

Check-in was a little laborious (room not ready at 15:00; I had to wait more than 30 minutes without even a welcome drink) - The bathroom was my only disappointment. The bathtub is really really small; half the size of what you would expect. - Toilet is located in the bathroom and not in a separate room, which is not very practical if you are not alone.

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite because the executive room I had reserved was not available. - Very large room. Modern equipment (extra large flat screen). - Large and comfortable bed. A bit hard but ok for me. - Functional kitchen with all the equipments needed (microwave, fridge, ...) - Tea, coffee and 4 cartons of milk available ; everything replaced every day. - Complimentary bottles of water. - Some unexpected quality toiletries like bath salts but no teethbrush/toothpaste for instance. - Stocked minibar. Prices are reasonable.

It was a bit run down, the staff however confirmed that the hotel will be renovated in the coming days.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the mall and other key sites in Jhb. The best thing was the staff, specifically Lesedi at the front desk who went all out to meet our needs and was especially attentive and made our stay unforgettable. She heard us mention we got married and she organised the most thoughtful romantic set up in our room. This was so thoughtful and it’s things like this that make customers feel valued. I am sure she spoke to numerous people that day and yet we felt like the only guests.

Turn down service never happened

Breakfast was surprisingly very good as were the meals from room service! Definitely one of the better hotel restaurants we have had, and a big improvement from the last time we were there!
