Bookings on the system seems to be unreliable. I was awoken at 01h30 due to staff thinking my room was vacant. Staff member was opologetic. It's a horrible disturbance. Insufficient parking was a problem.

The bathing water was brownish in colour which was a bit uncomfortable for us...but other than that everything was spectacular.

The only thing that I can say is that maybe add some bar fridges in the rooms.

Everything, the quiet, the smell of fresh mountain air, the views, the trails, the safety, the peace and good WiFi, etc. The fact that they even cater for all, as we don't eat beef or pork and they had mutton sausages and lamb cold meat and lots of variety for breakfast (best omlets too) also supper they had chicken and variety of other stuff for us.

Was disappointed that none of the 3 bridges over the river were usable - they were all (seemingly permanently) closed due to poor maintenance. This leaves just one walk that you can do from the hotel. Wanted to play mini-golf but the receptionist didn't know where there golf balls were kept so we couldn't do that either. One thing that really bugged us is that despite the tranquil setting there is nowhere quiet to sit. TVs are blaring sports programmes in reception, in the bar and in the lounge.

Staff were not too concerned with our leaky bathroom (took ages to come to our aid) saying that we had given them the wrong room number . Phones were down. Only stayed for one night but could have had a better experience from rather than to change rooms in the middle of the night. My husband did take it up with the helpful manager though. Sorry can’t remember the name of the guy.

We’d driven a long way to get to the hotel and were very tired. Given this is a large hotel and check out is at 10.00 am we thought we might be allowed to check in when we arrived just after 12. But it felt like the staff were unhelpfully and needlessly enforcing the advertised 2pm check in. We didn’t feel particularly welcome.

The people dealing with finances were not organized, Mbali and Nana. I payed the full amount almost a month before the trip and I communicated with them prior to my arrival date with proof of payments and to my surprise....on the day of checking in, I was still questioned whether the booking was payed for??? They were still trying to find my proof of payment. Which was a bit annoying and embarrassing.

The view are amazing, rooms are clean. Staff is also amazing. I enjoyed the walk to the waterfall.
