I had erroneously assumed a suite would have a separate bedroom. This is more like a (very nice) studio. Describing the couple of yogurts, juice, milk and muesli in a jar as a continental breakfast is stretching the point. Good self catering hosts often provide this as extras without the need to describe them as any kind of breakfast. The fact that cooking utensils were in rather short supply and the fridge is so small makes true self catering very difficult. The setting of "five star" accommodation above a restaurant results in a quirky feel, with a fairly constant buzz of activity from midmorning to 9pm. We were there during a cold snap and felt it because of not arranging the fire to be lit in the (efficient-looking) fireplace. There is no aircon. All in all, we found the pricing for the suite to be a bit steep for what was there.

The view of the waves crashing just beyond the perimeter of the property is absolutely spectacular.. The member of staff on site was extremely personable, cheerful and helpful. Enrico's, the restaurant below is warm and vibey and prepares delicious food. We also had our best ever Tiramisu there and our waiter made it a truly pleasant evening for us. The setting is truly beautiful and allowed us to take a wonderful, long sand beach walk towards Keurbooms river from Mare Nostrum. We could have walked on for miles. Our balcony, overlooking the restaurant below,and the waves breaking on the shore just beyond that, was lovely and the room is dwell decorated with high quality finishings.

The location of the Singing Kettle is 2nd to none! The rooms are beautiful, impeccably clean and very well maintained. It comes highly recommended. Two drawbacks though- being a five star establishment and considering the price, a full breakfast should be included bearing in mind it is rather isolated. Secondly, water should be available free in the rooms. Lastly, again bearing in mind that it is a 5* establishment, maybe a welcome beverage should be considered. But we enjoyed our stay tremendously- Thank You

The owners have really thought of everything from rain umbrella to beach umbrella, beach toys and bag. The breakfast is yoghurt and big fruit basket. Enricos restaurant downstairs was very accommodating, bringing dinner to our room. It was a very popular restaurant but Mateo made sure we were served promptly. Good value too

wifi was terrible. staff limited hours. very limited facilities but normal for a small hotel. was not so clear in the description but fine.

rooms are beautiful, the view is incredible and it feels like vacation in a cozy cottage as soon as you get in. Small boutique hotel with 5 rooms only so facilities are limited and no meals provided. Enrico's restaurant downstairs is amazing. Great food, fresh seafood, great ambiance. Weather was rainy and foggy but felt so comfy in the room. mini kitchen with all the necesary appliances and supplies provided.

Stunning view of the beach, we saw dolphins in the waves one morning! Wish we could've stayed longer, seems like a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Singing Kettle. The staff were exceptional and made us feel at home and really took care of us. We stayed over Christmas and the team made the day extra special with gifts especially for my young daughter. Location is excellent. Will definitely stay again.

Nothing. 'It is what it says on the tin'. Yes there is a restaurant and music below, but this was not intrusive and added to the enjoyment.

Excellent location and facilities for a relaxing few days. We rated this in top two or three stays we have experienced in our travels. Lovely room. Beach on the doorstep. Will definitely revisit.
