Booking.com had advertised this establishment as a 5 star hotel but it felt more like a better-than-average 4 star hotel due to the fact that it was self catering and only a continental breakfast was offered.

the bedrooms are modern and well equipped with self catering equipment as well as a great smart TV, the bed was very comfortable, the pool terrasse was superb, the staff were so welcoming and friendly.

A great location. Close to restaurants, beaches and attractions such as the bus stop for the hop on hop off bus tours. Everything you need is within easy walking distance. Our room was spacious, light and airy. Views of camps bay from our room were spectacular. Pool and facilities were great and felt very safe here at all times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was a nice treat having breakfast items delivered to our room to make our own breakfast with in the mornings.

Our stay at Camps Bay Boutique Hotel was just perfect! We were celebrating our honeymoon and the hotel went above and beyond to welcome us with a beautiful set up in our room, petals, balloons on the bed, champagne and chocolates for us to enjoy it was so gorgeous! We loved our stay and the gym facility is great too which we used a few times. Great location at Camps Bay we would 100% stay there again and all the staff were wonderful can't fault it - Thank you for a fabulous stay :)

Overall we had a brilliant 4 nights here and would highly recommend The bed was extremely comfortable! The location was perfect and safe to walk to the restaurants. The food in the area is fab! The rooftop bar was great. Edwin and Arnold make great cocktails! Lovely views The breakfast is there to make yourself at your leisure with fresh croissants and baguettes delivered daily. There's plenty of food and it's quite nice that you can make some sandwiches to take out for day trips. There are washing machines and dryers to use downstairs. This came in handy as we finished our SA trip in Cape Town and had lots of washing to do. All the staff are really friendly. The car park is secure.

It is not a fault of the hotel, but the location is not so good, as you may expect. Camps Bay has stunning views and a wonderful beach, however there are a lot of beggars. It is hard to enjoy the views when someone is constantly trying to beg from you. You should be aware of your pockets.

They thought of everything to make you feel comfortable. There is a free laundry, a lot of useful things in the room (extra blankets, different types of dishes and cutlery), complimentary fridge stock (refilled everyday). There is even an oven. Stunning views which you could enjoy from a balcony

It would have been more perfect if guests didn't have to walk through the parking garage after reception. Quirky, but not a big deal.

What a wonderful place! We arrived after weeks in the bush on safari to be met with the crisp white and spectacular beach views of this hotel. The hotel is modern and well decorated with original art. Breakfast was a treat. They don't serve a buffet but rather, they spoil you with a stocked fridge full of drinks, fruit, meats and cheese. Fresh croissants and bread were delivered daily. And the wifi worked extremely well. The location was perfect, with a full view of the sunset and within stumbling distance of fabulous ocean-side restaurants. We are definitely coming back.

The changing of linin we had to ask for Linin to be changed and that they said breakfast is included on the booking but we had to make it ourselves. We booked for 3 people but at times God catering was gor 2 people.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Everything about it was perfect. The fresh food provided daily for breakfast (croissants, bread, smoked salmon, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, juice) was a great addition, and worked well with the fully equipped kitchen and room. The gym and laundry facilities were well used by us, and the hotel itself is so beautiful with all the amazing art work. Location was exactly what we were after, Camps Bay is great.

South Beach Camps Bay location is fantastic - hidden from the hustle and bustle of Cape town, but can get everywhere easily and with beautiful views Room was fantastic - spacious, comfortable and super clean. The included breakfast in the package was amazing as well - fresh baguettes and croissants everyday, and an assortment of bacon, fruits etc

The first room had a plumbing problem so we were upgraded to the grand suite which was peerless in its design and facilities. And enormous! Staff were brilliant and friendly. The location is excellent.
