Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaWoke up to no hot water in bathroom. I had a cold shower. Family had to wait a while for the hot water. Delayed our checkout. Staff however was friendly & helpful & tried to resolve the matter quickly
Breakfast was really good. Although I feel a lamb option should be on the menu, as my family & I don't consume either beef or pork. Staff was really helpful & pleasant

United KingdomThe staff could be friendlier/ more professional. Reception staff were great at check in and check out. But when it came to resolving issue with broken lift for a wheelchair user they disappeared. Had to have firm words with manager before this was dealt with. 1 or 2 staff during breakfast were also rude. I don’t appreciate being told how to dress my baby or what to feed them by hotel waitress. One comment is bad enough but a running commentary is way beyond what I expected Fridge and safe in room were not working. But when reported this was quickly resolved by their technician
Breakfast was great with wide range for everyone’s needs. Rooms were good size with comfy beds. Swimming pool area is lovely with restful ambience. Very quiet hotel considering it’s on a main road. Generally pleasant staff Delicious food during dinner by room service. Made our evening after long day of travelling :)

South AfricaThe initial rooms we were placed in really needs a revamp. The money charged should match the standard of the place you stay in irrespective of how you have done your booking.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They even helped us by reallocating us a better room when we were dissatisfied about the rooms we were first allocated to.

South AfricaOur room was on the left side of the hotel and the street noice was very disturbing. Taxi's passing by were hooting non stop 24/7. Really. Staff at reception said they are aware of that being an issue to the guests.
Staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is a bit older but still very comfortable and good value for money.
