The cottage was not cleaned to standard. Quite dusty, curtains were off the rails and towels provided were old and tattered.

We had the rump for dinner. My husband could not eat half of his as it was very tough and not good quality. Some items on the menu not available. Roof in number1 leaked and husband slipped on wet floor.

The lodge is very beautiful. Needs some TLC. Gardens stunning. Breakfast was delicious.

The private lounge are needs a table. l found it weird it didn’t have one. The Game drive was boring, needs more animals in the game reserve as they is only few and you keep seeing the same animals. Food needs to be improved and rotated

I hate the question becuase it's a requirement so you hunt for stuff. We missed breakfast due a wedding the night before and therefore a very late start. I had to choose between breakfast and showering and I wasn't going to miss the outdoor shower so the super strict (even on a Sunday) cut off for breakfast and checkout time was a bit of a pain for me. But my laziness is so not their fault.

I had a beautiful stay at Tala. The room was large, comfy and had great cupboard space. The bath is large and accommodating and there's an outdoor shower! What a great surprise! There is a lovely verandah to sit and have coffee on, and contemplate the silence and the animals as they wander past. It's a lovely place to stay and I always adore Tala.

You can take you own vehicle on the game drive. An SUV would be fine

My only complaint is that the milk in the rooms is powdered. But the restaurant did give me a jug of fresh milk when i needed.

All meals were very good. Service excellent My room was comfortable and I had lovely views of the animals across the field. Love the outside showers at Paperbark.

When booking I was not aware there were different properties therefore was not entirely happy with paperbark property. Thanks a lot for the upgrade, I suggest you update paperbark property although it was not too bad.

We really enjoyed the tranquility, the food as well as the game drive. The facilities are at a great standard, especially at the manor house. All the staff on the property are very informative and treated us with great hospitality.

I did not like the leadwood restaurant menu,food options are very limited, the waiters are not helpful or friendly, breakfast time is too short. I paid for a romantic setup which wasn't done, cellphone network reception was poor, I had to ask for the Wi-Fi password a day after checking in, the cottage should have a microwave at that price point and a better iron should be provided.

Staff at reception were very helpful and welcoming, Mandisa was very kind . The drivers were very nice, Nomzamo the leadwood restaurant manager was amazing, The game drive was awesome, the ranger was very knowledgeable and patient answered every question with a smile on his face. Segway was an amazing experience, Simon was a very good instructor and was friendly. I loved how tranquil it was at the cottage.

Lights in the bathroom couldn't be turned off, only dimmed. Rest of switches were frustrating to use. Speed bumps on the dirt roads are very high, recommend using a car with good clearance

A coffee table or ottoman in the lounge area of the presidential suite would add to the comfort. everything else was perfect.

The view and room was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. It is a must visit in Durban
