No tv in the units - big drawback. The wifi was very poor - I wasnt able to connect at all.

Great ambiance and setting. The unit I had was well situated and offered a great view of the animals. The staff were friendly but professionalism can ve improved on.

The place doesn’t have fridge in the rooms. The charging sockets require an adapter.

The room we had prebooked 2 months before our stay wasn't available upon our arrival, not ideal as we would've liked the room we booked. The room could use an airfreshner or a scented candle. The wifi didn't connect throughout our stay and considering there was no TV, this was an inconvenience.

The finishes of the Leadwood cottage were beautiful. The bed and couches were extremely comfortable. The food at Leadwood Manor was delicious. Very friendly staff.

I was thoroughly disappointed to wake up to cold water to shower and then there was no water at all.

Enjoyed the game drive. Game Ranger had a great sense of humor. Our massage was also good. Breakfast was quite a nice spread.

There’s no ironing board & iron in the rooms. Also the location is wrong here on Booking.com | my car was stuck in the mud inside the premises since I was using this wrong location. but they charged me R300 for assistance 😡 but why ? Coz they said every car can get into the lodge

The gas heater was not that affective. They did not offer face clothes. A second chair to relax would have been great thing to have in a room

The staff were very friendly and service was excellent, we enjoyed our stay at Paperbark, the food was delicious, the game drive was superb, cleaning of rooms could use some improvement, overall beautiful stay with lovely staff, definitely recommending to friends and family

Waking up to a herd of wildebeest and a Rhino and her baby coming to the restaurant in the late afternoon, incredible to be so close.....wonderful experience, hope to be back soon.

The photo’s on the website does not reflect the rooms. There is more than one logde and the photo’s do not reflect the room we stayed in. There is mould on the walls and the curtains are dirty. I had to ask for towels and there was no hair dryer.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the scheduled game drive was canceled without alternative timings provided. Moreover, several menu items for both lunch and dinner were unavailable due to ingredient shortages, including products such as chicken and seafood. The restaurant clearly did not take into consideration people that do not eat red meat. The breakfast experience was marred by a non-functional coffee machine, with Nescafé sticks offered as a substitute. Although the room was aesthetically pleasing, the lack of basic toiletries such as mini shower gel and toothpaste, especially given the nightly price, was highly disappointing coming from someone that travels often and internationally.

The property was located in a very serene surrounding which allowed for a therapeutic stay.

I loveeeeed the room. We upgraded to the Honeymoon Suit because the room i had picked on bookings dot com is actually not the room that was allocated. The pictures were deceiving.

The place needs maintenance & its visible; unit had no porch furniture, there were few menu options and the spa needs to be improved/upgraded.

The interior is beautiful, clean and peaceful.
