No fridge in presidential suite .Took dark not enough light. We didn’t get picked up for dinner at 18:00 , the driver arrived a whole hour later so we slept hungry. No free drinks too welcome the stay and it was presidential suite. Not enough bath mats and bedside mats near the bed

No presence of staff. Attempted break in at the paperbark lodge. Early hours of the morning two men came to the rooms we booked. Tried to open. Ladies inside were terrified. No staff to help. Was absolutely cold no heating in the room around 6 the manager said he was getting gas for the heater it never artived.Needed help getting to the lead wood lodge at night. Asked someone to eskort us, he said to me yoir car has lights! No one could help. We got lost in the bush. It was like a suicide holiday. As soon As day broke, we were out of there. Worst holiday I ever experienced. Please advise guest to not go there, it is not safe.

The water pressure comes and goes during the day but maybe it was due to load shedding. They have no load shedding globes in place so when it's dark... It's dark.The use of candles is there but I think for such a lovely place, it's an idea to consider.

We were so privileged to arrive there and see the rhino's grazing right outside our door. Literally like 15m away from you.They're so close you can literally hear them chew the grass. The rooms are beautiful inside and the beds are super comfy and huge! The breakfast was also delicious. Pity we didn't stay long enough to have a dinner there because the restaurant smells divine in the evening. The manager was amazing!!!! And went out of his way to make our stay pleasant and the staff are incredible! So well mannered and friendly and are always willing to help. It's so peaceful out there, I'd move there if I could, definitely recommend this place.

The scenery was amazing from our patio. The room aesthetics was stunning. Loved the peace and quiet coming from a noisy city. It was absolute tranquility

The meals were not good at all. The place definitely needs to provide decent meals as this is the only restaurant on the property. The fish and chips we ordered was a disaster the fish was stale and the chips were soaked in oil. The breakfast omelet was terrible and so was the fried eggs and sausage. The sausage wasn't cooked well. The toasted cheese was tasteless it was a slice of unmelted cheese stuck to the bread. We just had the coffee and the single sealed muffins. The food was the only issue everything else was amazing

This was misleading. The wrong photo was used to advertise, my accommodation was not the same as the one advertised. Terrible experience, I feel robbed. This was a scam. Leadwood was used for advertising but I was booked at Paperbark which was terrible. I drove all the way from Johannesburg to sleep in an accommodation that looks like a staff cottage. Awful experience.

We didn’t receive the room we booked. We were lied to that there was a maintenance issue with our room only to find out that they over booked. we were given a cottage for the first night and transferred to our original room the next day. we had to check out of the cottage at 10am but was only given our suite at 2pm so between that time, we had no room! Staff were not helpful and rude. Facilities were perfect. Facilitators were poor! I booked leadwood presidential suite for the peace and quiet but we were awaken at 07h00 on a weekend by the sound of construction… I could go on.

facilities were amazing. The game drive was the highlight, our game ranger was a 12/10! Never got that close to Rhinos before

the location it’s you must have your own car to enjoy every thing and never been mentioned that in description! it’s as they say under management of resort hotel but unfortunately there no any service can be called resorts! the staff get very long time to respond I think this place can be better if the management give more services as resorts they must provide cars for guest movements in any time especially if the guest don’t have them cars as my case I could give high rates but 7/10 it’s fair enough

There was no running water from 5pm on the day we arrived until 5am the following day.. No one informed us upon arrival that there was any issues with water, we only found out that there was no water in our "luxury suite" when we wanted to shower after a long hot day in the sun. We then proceeded to enquire multiple times as to when the water would be fixed and were told they are sorting it out and it would be sorted by 8pm. However, as stated above the water only came back on the following morning at 5am. Therefore, resulting in us having to go to bed sweaty from the days activities without having had a shower! When the water did come back at 5am we tried to run a bath however, the plug for the bath did not work properly and therefore the water kept draining. I had book the one night stay at Leadwood Lodge as an engagement celebration as we had gotten engaged in the day while at Tala. An evening that was supposed to be a celebration of our engagement ended up as a very disappointing evening due to the lack of running water! This is truly unacceptable considering Leadwood is advertised as a luxurious experience, which it was not at all for us!!

the unit we stayed in, doors weren’t working. only 2 of the deck doors could open. the fire place wasn’t working. there was a heater supplied though. the bar fridge wasn’t stocked at all. poor maintenance on the outside of the unit. inside is good though.
