The balcony was very dirty. Pigeons nesting on top of the aircon outside and lots of droppings everywhere.

Personally, I think the rooms are not checked up enough to make sure things are working properly. We booked this room for a bath but could not use it. They could not find a bathplug that I could use. The bath was leaking water on the floor from underneath the bath. The aircon did not work at all. No mirror near any wall socket that I could use. The sea front door got stuck and went off the rail, and we could not get it back on to close property . The breakfast was okay but could have been way better.

We loved the view and that the staff were always willing to help. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and big with enough storage space.

The Point has all bones of a fine establishment but desperately needs an upgrade in the bathrooms and balconies.

All the mould in the bathroom and the slippery floors in the room and on the balcony..my grandchild fell twice in the room and there were no signs indicating that the floors are slippery when wet..even the floors in the dining room were slippery

The hotel needs some TLC. It’s an amazing location but the rooms and facilities are tired and need to be replaced. The foyer smelled a bit like a toilet which was off-putting. Also they have no generator for Loadshedding which was frustrating.

Breakfast was nice. Bacon ran out and I didn’t see them too it up.

Look this property is in a good position unless it’s foggy or misty in which case the light house and foghorn are directly behind the hotel , the foghorn kept us awake for two days and night s , earplug help but did not drown out the noise , even with all doors and window closed . If the weather is good you get great sea views and the sound of the waves . You take your chance Personally I would not return here

The sliding door to the balcony was clearly damaged and would open and close properly. The aircon leaked into the room which kept the floor wet.

We had the honeymoon suite.When we got there the room was clean but in the bathroom,the taps and the flusher of the toilet were not cleaned.We got an amazing full body massage.But when we asked to use a steam room or jacuzzi,they said it's not in working.Please fix that. It can't be called a Spa if there is so little treatments you can do.We ordered room service.They had quite a lot of dishes out of stock.due to waiting for the truck to deliver.The next night we tried to order again and the same thing.So we had to go out.That was quite disappointing.Further ons it is so beautiful there.Thank You for beautiful view from our room.

The friendly staff made ma want to come back.They really care for the visitors

The hotel needs renovation. All the metal parts in the WC were rusted. Only 6 basic TV channels.

We ate at the restaurant the evening. Were the only 2 people there. The staff and waiter was very friendly. But the food was very disappointing. We ordered steak and it was way over cooked. I asked for mushroom sauce which was not cooked through. And it was quite pricey.

The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The view was fantastic! The hotel was clean.

This hotel is seriously 8n need of maintenance, damp and mold everywhere. The furniture very old and falling apart. Only 6 channels on TV none of which were appealing. Paint peal8ng off everywhere, rubber seal on shower falling off. Came to collect towels at 8am on sat we hadn't showered yet, granted I asked for clean towels later and they were replaced. Times of spa breakfast etc, different on written notes to what we were told. Tried to book a massage twice but spa staff were working different hours to pamphlet and different to what I was told first time I tried to book. Very sad as this hotel has so much potential, it just needs some TLC. Blankets were stained very old and extremely heavy.

The view was amazing, breakfast not bad and location fantastic. With8n walk8ng distance of great restaurants and attractions.

The facility is run down

Accommodation was basic. Rooms are spacious but the facilities need a revamp or at least a bit of paint desperately. The view is spectacular so location makes up for everything that might not have been top class.

No lights or wifi during load shedding. We had to buy an emergency light. The next day management gave us an emergency light.

It was very clean. I would not say very comfortable. There were a few issues but they were sorted out the next day by management.
