How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The door to the terrace didn't close properly and opened a few times during the night.
Nice location in the heart of the Zona Rosa. Great restaurants and cafes very close by. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff.

We had a room on the first level. It was super loud as next to the hotel a lot of bars and clubs are located. I don't understand why a hotel of >4 Stars is closing this location as you never get it quite here. So I propose to choose it for party instead of a quite stay ;)
The Hotel is very central which is a pro and a con. Staff was really nice. Rooms are nice and bed was ok. Bathroom had no window that can be opened and also no ventilation. This should be changed.

Everything was fine. Depending on which side of the street your room faces, it can be noisy at night from outside bars/clubs. But it was a holiday weekend.
David at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast selection was great. Alvaro and the rest of the restaurant staff were very attentive and accommodating. They were quick to replenish any food items that were running low when we came down late in the morning.

They were bad at taking up my request for a vegan breakfast, even though I had anticipated it many days before, in the begging they didn’t know what “vegan” was. They bought ready-made arepas without cheese but they were terrible, when I asked for the normal arepas without cheese they told me I could buy them and they would cook them for me.

Super noisy due to lots of nightclubs nearby. They provide earplugs at the lobby, but you can almost feel the bass because of how loud the music can be. There's a park right in front of the hotel and half of Bogota youngsters hang out there all night long.
Right in the middle of Zona T. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great!

It’s near at least 4 dance clubs so bring a white noise maker or ear plugs if you are a light sleeper

The location is so great is hard to sleep - there are plenty clubs and resturants and the parties are loud so is hard to sleep.

The toilet is poorly designed and placed making it uncomfortabel and does not provide enough space to clean up after number 2. This has to do with the placing of the toilet paper. The rooms are dated.
The rating of a good breakfast as marketed by Booking.com is mediocre and is relatively not so to my standard. Just an average breakfast to Colombian standards. Suite was large enough so one does not feel cramped.

The noise in the evenings and early hours is constant, but if you want to party, or you can sleep through that, it is a great location.
This hotel is in a great area for restaurants, shopping and partying. It is a very safe area, right on the edge of the park which is the start of party central. Easy to get around, and you can find everything you need in the way of restaurants and shopping. Bed was good but a little too firm for us. You cannot have a quiet room as the partying in the area goes until around 2 or 3am every night. Breakfast was great with an omelette each morning if you wish. The staff are very helpful and will do anything to meet your needs.

There is a terrace which cannot be accessed which is a bit of a shame.

The wifi did not work when we arrived, and it was on/off during our day which isn't ideal if you are new to the city, don't have a phone sim or need to do any work! There was only one life and often very busy / long to wait! We were staying on floor 3 and the noise was so loud, the corridors were thin so not only could you hear the clubs/parties till 4am but also people coming home drunk too!
The beds were so comfy and very clean. The location is fantastic, safe area - no problems and very friendly staff!

During the night there was a lot of noise because of the discotheque located around the Hotel.
