Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Properly was nice but service is definitely not good. Room service your food is brought in cardboard boxes which cheapens the stay. Plastic knives and forks. I ordered a steak with veg and sauce hubby chicken sandwich there is no place to eat as it just take away. I would not recommend room service

South AfricaDENIED BREAKFAST: My husband was running the Two-Oceans marathon , and upon arrival, we were told that breakfast will be available from 4AM for this weekend to accommodate all runners. However, on Sunday morning, we were at the kitchen around 5am and were denied breakfast, they said we were supposed to book in advance. There were breakfast packs already prepared for other runners but we couldn’t get any, so we left without breakfast. Breakfast that we have actually PAID for, breakfast that we were TOLD would be available from 4am. We would have also booked in advance if it weren’t for the miscommunication amongst your staff.
Very clean, exquisite interior design, I’m genuinely rating their aesthetics at 200% 🥇🏆

I love that the hotel is near all the major tourist attraction especially V & A Waterfront. Our uber rides around the city were inexpensive because of this. The restaurant serves great good and had a whole sushi bar and a roof top pool. Room service is also available pretty much all the time. Great stay would definitely come back again.

The staff at the door are the best. No matter what time of the day, they are always there to assist and help. The lady doing the bookings for tours in Cape Town close to the receptionist is a lovely lady and very good at her job. Kitchen staff add more sweetness to the breakfast with their smiles and friendliness.
