Amazing location! Room was very clean, good bed. Food was amazing! Best breakfast of our entire vacation. Wish we could have stayed longer. Fantastic value for money. Great experience having zebra's around at breakfast.

There are some issues with ants but it's in the middle of the bush so not really surprising and it wasn't too bothersome.

It was our third time at Tomjachu Bush Retreat. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Lots of bushwalks around the property with close encounters with a number of animals. We took the self-catering option and it was great fun. The last night we ate at the Restaurant in the main house which was also very good. Thinking about going back already :)

Amazing views with lots of wildlife on the property. We booked a nature drive and the guide who drove us was very knowledgable. Very good dinner & breakfast. The pool area was fantastic for relaxing with an Honesty Bar as an added bonus. Very nice lounge areas in the main lodge.

The mountainbikes absolutely need some maintenance.

We loved our bungalow with an amazing sunset. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Very good breakfast, delicious braai packet to order. We had a very lovely stay at Tomjachu.

The check in was fine, we did however not receive all the required information around the trails or getting in our out of the reserve gate. Nothing major though so it didn’t hinder the experience.

The area is still very untouched and absolutely stunning. The experience allowed for a complete disconnect from the city. Immersion into nature in the most comfortable of ways!

The on-site dining options fluctuated, even though there was a chef on site. For dinner there was an extensive menu, but for lunch the only thing available was either chicken shnitzel or chicken pie. At breakfast, we had fresh squeezed orange juice one day, and the next day it was from a carton. There was no variety in the salads (we had the same salad 3 meals in a row). Note that breakfast is an added cost. Additionally, the mountain bikes on site were quite old and the breaks didn't work too well.

Amazing views, incredible bush walking and lots of wildlife on the property. The hiking paths were well-marked so it was easy to navigate without a guide. We booked a bush dinner which was a highlight of our holiday. The guide who drove us to the dinner was very knowledgable and stopped along the way to share information on the surrounding plants and animals. The pool area was fantastic for relaxing (weather permitting), with an Honesty Bar as an added bonus. Very nice lounge areas, both at our cottage and in the main lodge.

We absolutely loved the scenery. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere was definitely what we needed. Being away from the busy life and just getting a chance to relax and enjoy a bit of time together was all we could ask for. The staff was so friendly and professional, they made our stay exceptional, it was a memorable experience. I'd be happy to return for a longer period next time.

The minute we drove into the farm, everything changed the atmosphere was so relaxed it was unbelievable. We were met by a very friendly lady who took us to our cottage as our car was too low. We also met the co owner Jack the following day who took his time telling us more about the farm, very informative. 100% 100% .I have told my friends about the place.

The location is beautiful with fantastic views where breakfast is served. It has a colonial feel. Good breakfast. good stop over but one can easily stay a couple of days. Accommodation is private and spacious.

The location in the Bush gives some retreat and promotion of wellness environment The breakfast is very delicious and filling..thanks to the chef and kitchen staff We did the hiking in the morning and Charles was the best. Wow, such a treasure to this company.
