Kitchen was not working during our stay. We had to eat out in nearby location but that lead us to discover a good pizza and delicious food at the closest food junction.

Just as a recommendation: connect the visitors more to the village next to it. It's so much more the local feeling than the tourist set up at the other end of the road

The staff is absolutely amazing when it comes to service and friendliness! The tubing company is connected to that hostel, which is highly recommended to do, just because you get the greatest guides with it. In the end, we actually spent more time with the staff and found friends in some of them than other backpackers who would just stay for a night. Come in and stay longer :)

Pillows are very uncomfortable.

Bacon was diced bacon as to streaky. Roosterbrood was paper thin and only got half. No jam for the toast. No option to add a sausage. Not worth the price.

We enjoyed the beautiful property, each unit is privately tugged in the natural environment. The staff is friendly, the food is good. They create ambiance with a huge fire and vibing music. We made use of the pool and the hot tubs. Our stay contributed to our memories together. We will come again and bring friends to enjoy the cozy vibe.

The tubing activity (green one) was really overpriced compared to what we did (it was fun but short and okay for the kids).

The pool, playground, etc. were great for our kids. We also enjoyed the hot tubs. The staff was very nice.

We had this cute little porch outside our room, however we could not use it or even open the door throughout our stay , this was because it smelled so bad like a sewer pipe or clogged drain. I was really dissapointed about that. We had to request for airfreshner. The first time we showered we notice the water was standing in the shower and not draining . This was sorted out by maintenance the next day and we had no issues after that.

Great location in the heart of Stormsriver. We also did the Blackwater Tubing which operated out of the lodge, which was great fun! Lovely staff, comfortable bed, plenty to do in the area. Don’t expect pure luxury but for the price everything was excellent.

There were a group of 7 or more locals were placed in the same room as mine. They eat, talk loud and party in the room. My sleeping bag was lost which I believed was accidentally taken by them. Wrote several notices to the hostel but did not hear back from them.

The hot tubs were not warm when we arrived and still had to be warmed up and this takes a couple of hours, so something to take into account.

Friendly personnel. We had a big and clean room with everything you need, even a heater for the cold. The owners made sure to check that it was all working well. There's a great bar area where you can sit in comfort or play a game of pool.

Small shower. But mostly the kitchen (as self serve) was severely lacking cooking utensils and it was out in the back with no light and almost out there as an after thought. But it has a kettle and microwave and you can ask inside for a bowl or if you need something they are happy to accommodate.

Someone always at reception. Feels safe. Good set up although it’s winter so hard to appreciate the pool and fire pit. Easy to meet people. Help arranged a taxi combi to Tsitsikamma. Close to restos. Friendly staff.
