Perhaps the only negative was the stairs to the rooms.

It was a lovely property with all the comforts & amenities of a hotel. The room was extremely comfortable & the receptionist was super friendly & helpful.

Room floors making squeaky noise more especially from the upper rooms (upstairs) hearing every sound when you in the ground floor. Bathroom was so small

The property was clean and conveniently located. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating to whatever we needed. Eve, the resident chef made a scrumptious breakfast.

This was a quaint little place in Port St Johns. Modern finishes in a renovated home. We booked 4 rooms for an overnight stay, as we drove from EC to KZN, each room was similarly decorated. The Mountain Views in front and behind the house were spectacular.

Locating the place was not very easy but fortunately we arrived before sunset...the pin drop provided left us literally in the middle of the road so they need to familiarize themselves with their surroundings so when one calls to say they are lost, they can direct you from where you are. The picture they sent helped though because we had to drive towards the police station and when we took a U-turn, the place was immediately in front of us. The entrance needs to be fixed, it's not very ideal for smaller cars...pretty sure 2 bags of cement would solve this.

I appreciated that they ask the evening before on what you'd like to eat, this avoids being told somethings are unavailable. The breakfast was amazing, my highlight was the beans! Breakfast is served from 7h30-9h30 and there is a wide selection to choose from with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals as well. I asked for a takeaway breakfast and it was packaged very securely. The guy at reception has a very welcoming aura and made sure we were well accommodated, he serves with a smile and that is something that makes one feel welcome.

The door lock needs to be fixed. A sign that shows where the hotel is down the street is needed for visitors as network is a problem and might not be able to use GPS, The font of the sign at the Property is not clear especially at night.

Rooms need some maintenance. One of our bathrooms had had a previous leak and the damage was still obvious. Power went out due to a storm that night and didn't come back on but that's just a part of being in that area. There were stains on our bedding.

The staff were really attentive and helpful. Balcony was big, bed was comfortable.

I cannot faulter

The Staff , especially the receptionist, they were GOOD. Housekeeping was sensitive to and prompt when we called . We loved the balcony. The night of the 22 , the town was hit by devastating storm. The storm destroyed most amenities like electricity , and communication. We were pleasantly surprised that the Uzuri ( the place we were staying) pulled all stops in making sure we have breakfast in the morning. BigUps to the TEAM !!!!!!!!
