The Spa facilities were fantastic and the staff was exceptional allround. The staff at this property are gems.

South Africait would have been nice if the room TV was Infront of the bed, the room we got had the TV on the opposite side of the bed making it difficult to utilize the remote control..
My best highlights goes to the SPA, the staff and the facility itself was SUPER! The bubble picnic was also romantic and breath-takingly beautiful.

Yes the furniture was as it shows on the pictures from the website but the room was dark and gloomy with very little sunlight coming through as they show them on the website with beautiful sunlight bright coming in from that big glass window and door with beautiful energy and atmosphere. *Service at the restaurant is a bit slow, to get just a drink takes a bit of time. That can fixed.
*We don’t have breakfast, had to leave early hours of the morning 04:00 am for air ballon flight. *The stuff very helpful and informative. *Bathroom clean, nice and good lighting. *It’s a beautiful lodge. We saw zebras while we were chilling by the pool up and close. *Love the Spa top class!!!

South AfricaAt a cost of R395,00 per person for a dinner Buffet which wasn't worth R100,00 (without the option to order from the a la carte menu). The meal consisted of a meagre pasta salad, chewy beef and curried chicken, rice, corn on the Kob, cabbage and two pasties. The food was cold, we had to ask for bread or rolls. It was a rip off to say the least. The breakfast buffet was at least slightly better, but again the food was cold, and you had to call someone to offer assistance, there was no-one on duty at the buffet station. I was told that if I wanted French toast I would have to pay extra! Which after I complained to the Supervisor I received and was told that it was a misunderstanding!? The Spa was empty and when we wanted to make use of the facilities at 16:30 on Saturday afternoon we were told that we didn't make a booking and the spa was about to close. There are no set times for the facility, so it is a hit and miss. This even though the spa is beautiful inside and I am sure that if you are able to make use of the facilities you would enjoy it.
The room was exceptional, 5-star quality. It had everything one could ask for; it was neat as a pin and clean at all times. The Supervisor at the reception was always ready and willing to assist to make our stay more memorable. We even received a bottle of wine to compensate for our bad experience at dinner and breakfast.

South AfricaThe hot water was lukewarm as best and wasn't sorted out for the whole weekend. Spa and buffet prices are very high. The standard rooms are very small and the tv is also very small (32" at most). So regardless of all the positive things it remains a bad value for money lodge

South AfricaWhats not to like? Everything regarding property was amazing. Only the food was terrible with every order. There is no head chef on duty. Our experience was not to good due to the staff are mostly trainee’s with no propper manager or supervisor that knows the industry. The food quality and inexperience killed the vibe for us. A place’s food and servers makes or breakes a place.

South AfricaWe couldn't use the braai facilities onsite as it is reserved for the hotel for them to braai and not the guest. Only English breakfast offered so end up having the same thing for breakfast, no variety.
The place is very beautiful and peaceful...we enjoyed the walking trails on both sides of the bridges ,the tranquility and being able to see the Springboks running/jumping around was awesome. The stuff was friendly and the manager was excellent. Definitely coming back for a longer stay

South AfricaNo non-alcoholic beverages, e.g. Heineken Zero. No DSTV, i.e. no good news channel. No information booklet in the room with list of facilities and restaurant times. Too many pillows and cushions in the room and nowhere to hide them. For about R2,700 for one person for one night, I expected more.
Close to the venue where I ran the next morning. Gardens were impeccable and the rooms clean.
