Neil created a place where you truly feel home. Dircetly upon arriving he gave tips where to go and get the best food and what to see. The rooms were cozy and cleaned every single day, the garden is beautiful and a great place to relax. For breakfast I was asked every morning if I wanted to have eggs (English Breakfast Style with potaoes etc.) or pancakes and they were freshly prepared. Other choises like fresh fruit and a selection of cheese / ham was available as well. I really enjoyed my stay and would always come back!

A lovely hideaway. Neil is very helpful with great food recommendations. His place is a great starting point to visit Cape Town and the Table Mountain. A Hop-onHop-off Bus station is very close by. The breakfast was delicious

I stayed for a weekend at Villa Costa Rosa Guesthouse and I cannot recommend it enough. The room and breakfast were first class. The location, in a quiet road just a short walk from a good selections of restaurants and coffee shops in trendy Sea Point, was safe and secure. Sea Point is a good neighbourhood, centrally located in Cape Town, the promenade was a five minute stroll with the V&A Waterfront and all other attractions easily accessible. For me, what made Costa Rosa Guesthouse so special was the host Neil, he took care to make you feel at home and, for any first time visitors to Cape Tow, he had some great ideas of where to go and where to eat as well as explaining the dos and don’ts to make your stay in this beautiful city hassle free.

Friendly and informative welcome gave us everything we needed for our stay in Cape Town. Used the hop on/off bus to see the sights at a value for money price. Recommendations for restaurants brilliant. Garden room clean and quiet. Breakfast lovely. Courtyard garden/pool area a little haven. Staff helpful. All was great for us. Wine in room thoughtful and unexpected.

This was a fantastic find. A wonderful guest house in a great location. The owners Neil and Rob were so helpful and gave us lots of information re local places and restaurants. Our room was lovely and spotless with a nice balcony to sit outside. Breakfast was fabulous. Lots of choice and beautifully presented. We would definitely recommend this guest house, and would most definitely stay here again if in Cape Town.

What’s not to love - I guess that we had to leave and go back home.

Everything was just perfect. Love, love, loved our host, Neil. Super friendly and informative. Great advice on where to eat. The small touches make this venue such a delight! Luxury on a budget! Awesome stay!

This is such a fab little spot - a street or two away from the main hustle which means it’s tucked away from any noise or traffic. Walking distance to heaps of fab coffee shops (Ollie’s does an amazing coffee!) and easy enough to stroll into town if you’re fancy some scenery and steps in. The room we had was the double and it was upstairs adjacent to the welcome area/breakfast room, I was worried we would be disturbed when people were up early having brekky but we didn’t hear a peep. The bed was comfy, room was clean and all the amenities you need. Neil and his staff at Villa Costa are so lovely, he makes a bloody good scrambled egg and beautiful breakfast options to eat on the Patio by the pool in the morning. Neil was very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions I had which made being in a new city all the easier. Really couldn’t ask for more from your accommodation, ticks all the boxes for a wonderful stay in Cape Town.

Communication with the host (Neil) was perfect. Neil was very helpful in giving us pointers about what to do, where to eat, etc. Great location; it's ideal for people wanting to be close to restaurants, walking near the water, etc. Room and facilities etc were absolutely fine.
