Located on the busy main road can make garden and some of the rooms noisy at times. Definitely not a show stopper though.

The property is close to a busy road so some rooms might be a bit noisy in the mornings although it didn't bother us .

This is a beautiful property with wonderful gardens and a calm ,peaceful atmosphere. Marijke does everything to make your stay comfortable and is happy to tell you about the locality, restaurants and travel in the area. We arrived after a long arduous journey and felt rested immediately. Breakfast out on the terracwe was wonderful.

We enjoyed our time at Walker Bay Manor Mansion, and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and a nice way to start the day. The location is very convenient (close to the cliff path and centre) and we also received useful advice from Marijke about things to do and restaurants to visit in Hermanus. Overall this was a very pleasant stay.

The garden is very pretty and beautifully adorned with all sorts of flowers. Very pleasant to sit in and relax. Maryke is a amazing host, very friendly and goes out of her way to help. It's very well situated.

We loved everything about our stay and would return again!

We enjoyed staying at Walker Bay Manor Mansion. The location was perfect for exploring Hermanus and having quick access to the cliff path. The pool and garden was wonderful and we spent most of our afternoons relaxing in that area. Breakfast was also amazing and the staff was top notch.

We stayed in the smallest room, which faced the garden where the breakfast was served, so you could hear people staring 8am. It did not bother us as we were waking up anyway, but if you want to sleep in get a different room.

The host was great and gave us a lot of suggestions. Communication was easy. Breakfast was amazing. Location is great, right next to the shore and a beautiful cliff walk.

There was some traffic noise, since the building is close to the main road.

The breakfast ist absolutely amazing. And the host is getting out of her way that everone feels welcome and comfortable. The cliffs across the street are the best ones for whale watching!

There wasn't anything we didn't like. As with most accommodation it'd be nice to have a few more hooks to hang things in the bedroom and bathroom.

The host was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. They gave us recommendations of where to eat in town. The location of the house was perfect.... couple of minutes walk to the coast where we spotted whales!! We stayed in a private room with en suite and there were lots of lovely little touches from water to electric blanket and an honesty bar if you fancied a drink. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip. Would highly recommend to stay here.

Beautiful house, great food and very helpful host. We enjoyed the garden and being able to use the lounge in the evening, and the availability of tea/coffee/wine. Only 5 mins drive from town and amazing to be able to watch the whales from across the road!
