There isn't anything specific that was disliked, but perhaps a suggestion is to add fencing to the cottages for a small yard.

The cottage was cozy, the host was available if needed, Tonteldoos isn't too far away, the serenity of the mountains is incomparable, and it is pet friendly.

The cottage was very cozy. Being surrounded by lovely landscape with hiking trails and fising dams. It is a great spot to relax and unwind. Definitely worth the extra dirt road drive to get away from busy dillstroom.

It would have been nice if there had been spare blankets. The cottage was surprisingly warm and the fireplace really warmed it up nicely too, but when it got cold it would have been great if we could have had an extra blanket or two.

The location was fantastic and the accommodation was comfortable. The wifi was very strong too which was surprising. It was also nice that there was solar so that we did not have to deal with loadshedding.

There is nothing I can complain about, but if I had to suggest any improvement it would be the visibility of the signs on the walks as they have faded.

We loved the walks with our dogs and the quiet and remoteness of the location.

Angela was the most accommodating host- we had forgotten our coffee and sugar for the next morning and Angela was happy to supply us some even at 7pm at night. Our little house was more than what we expected and absolutely beautiful. We were warned about the dirt roads - definitely needed a 4 x 4 but our little cars made it and it was so worth it. My furbabies were so happy, calm and intrigued by the beautiful surrounds. We will definitely be back (in a bigger and better car) for more exciting adventure trails and walks.

    For US nothing of note

Woolley Bugger Farm is beautifully situated 22km of off road driving (20-30 mins) out of Dullstroom through lovely landscape. On arrival we had a nice, detached house with wonderful views across the fishing ponds (they hire rods to). Great marked walks around their land and marvellous selection of plants and wildlife. The house had all we needed from kitchen to bathroom and a covered porch with BBQ. There’s amazingly even two local places to eat.

The roads to this secluded spot is unfortunately in a poor state, I believe damaged from recent heavy rains. It requires a high clearance vehicle and patience. But even this did not spoil the wonderful experience one bit.

The natural beauty of the area is exceptional. Both the geology and vegetation is unique and in its natural unspoiled state. It’s is well worth a visit for any nature lover. Add to that peace and quit, comfortable clean facilities and it makes for the perfect getaway.

The only issue really which is out of the control of the farm itself if the dirt road. It is extreme, we have a high clearance vehicle and still this 20km road took us over 90minutes to get through so it made a two hour trip unnecessarily longer. Grading of the road is so needed.

What an absolutely incredible place! We stayed in Ginger Quill and we absolutely adored the stand alone unit which had privacy & views that were out of this world. There is no fencing around the unit but the long grass that creates a border around the property was helpful to keep our three fur children around the unit. The unit is spacious & has all that you would ever need. Bed is super comfortable and the fire place is such a wonderful addition to the coziness of this gem.

Beautiful views from every window, comfortable cottage, great hiking and fishing, rural location.

The mine, during the week, distracts in a very small way from the amazing location and nature. It is of no fault of the venue and you can still enjoy the rest of the lovely nature. The road into Tonteldoos can also be rough in places so a high clearance vehicle is essential for your visit.

Excellent place for a peaceful break-away. The surroundings are beautiful and the nature trails are great. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped. All in all a brilliant place to visit.

The fireplace inside the house was blocked. Suggest perhaps getting a toaster and another pan for the unit

They don't service the Chalet at all - Covid being the excuse. This is fine for a weekend but we stayed for 7 days and it became very uncomfortable. This is a very dry dusty environment. Same towels for 7 days - no handy Andy - just have to try and clean floor with a silly broom and sunlight and own rags. I thought this was ridiculous. I'm also not sure when the dams were last stocked. There are fish but certainly not in abundance.

Lovely location, dams, brilliant hikes, mountain biking opportunity. From a stay point of view this was a great location and it really is ideal to get away. My husband loves fishing and spent a large portion of time fishing at the dam. We hiked extensively and travelled on mountain bikes. We would go there again for a weekend only.

Bass dam didn’t have any stock, not good for a fishing trip. Noise from people on next property the entire time. Road to the property takes a while due to conditions.

    clean, cosy, free wood.
