Nice Indian breakfast. The room had enough space and AC worked well. The staff is very helpful and the lady who cleans the hotel with her two kids are totally adorable. The hotel is well located - 5 min walking to the river and you are in between of all interesting things.

Nice, spacious, clean room. With a very friendly owner who is happy to help discover the city. But if you prefer to do it yourself, that's also perfectly fine. Great walking distance to the Ganges, and okay breakfast. The atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxed, which is nice to escape the hustle and bustle of Varanasi for a while.

Spacious room with large window and view of the street below. Bathroom was clean and well presented. Breakfast was delicious, with great room service. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and were happy to accommodate all our requests. They were also very kind to let us leave our luggage on the departure day till very late in the evening. They even offered us complementary refreshments and a space to sort out our luggage and relax while we waited for our transport.

The service as Taj Ganges has been impeccable. All staff members of Taj Ganges were extremely attentive and exceptionally friendly. Restaurant manager Rakesh Mishra, Ms Gitanjali and the whole restaurant team made me feel like a king every single day. The 90-minute massage given by Ms. Jenny from the Wellness Centre and Spa was one of the best in my life. The extensive gardens of Taj Ganges are a tranquil oasis in the otherwise very busy and noisy town of Varanasi.

From check-in to check-out everything seemed to be perfect at Surya Kaiser Palace. The staffs were extremely cordial and accommodating, allowing me a late check-out. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The room was extremely cosy, with the housekeeping making it super clean every day. The in-house restaurant served delicious food. Even the spa and wellness centre was quite relaxing. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and I'd strongly recommend this to anyone travelling to Banaras.
