The cabins were accommodating, well equipped and the hosts easily reachable and communicative. Couldn’t have asked for more and we genuinely felt sorry when we had to leave. It’s a secluded place so you have some driving to do if you want shops or restaurants but all in all you’re treated to amazing nature during those trips so nothing you can complain about. Near enough to both Rovaniemi and Pyha & Luoso for hiking trips and winter activity.

The property is 11 km from central Saariselkä, Kiilopää fell is 5 km away. Everything was great. The Cabin was spacious and clean, and it was very comfortable staying there. There was a kitchen complete with cooking equipment, with plates, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, so you can cook your own meals and keep your costs down. There’s a coffee machine too. If you book airport transfers with them, they will take you to the supermarket first before proceeding to the Cabin so you can buy everything you need. The hosts Jaana and Mika were very kind and gracious. They even allowed us to check out late for free when they learned that our flight would leave at 6:00pm.
