  The room was very nice and the bed was unusually comfortable for a hotel at this price. The bathroom was very small, but clean and with a very well functioning shower. Better than most in this price class. Breakfast was as you can expect for this price class, with hardboiled eggs like rubber and a grey egg yolk, why is this standard in London? Do the english really want their eggs that way? Almost inedible! Anyway, the coffee machine was fine and you could have hot chocolate, which is a plus. I agree with other reviewers that the breakfast personnel could be a bit rude, not exactly to us but I heard how they talked to other guests. It is quite close to bus stops and Hyde park (5 min walk), a little longer to Paddington station (9 min). Within 30 min you can reach the National history museum and Victoria and Albert museum by foot, a very nice walk through Hyde park.
