“Lovely hotel with lovely furnishings and atmosphere. We stayed here two nights for the Xmas Market; one of these was just outside the hotel and we had a lovely view of it over the square. Despite this it was very quiet. The staff at the 24 hour reception were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really exceptional (honey straight off the comb and lots of options for guests with food allergies), again with friendly staff. We arrived by train and walked from the station, it is a fair walk but there are buses and taxis.”

“The pleasant way my request for two non feather pillows was immediately dealt with. The little fridge which meant I could keep certtain items I could eat as breakfast items contained too much sugar. Unfortunately I have become very allergic to it. However I was given coffee and as it rained this was most pleasing. A huge umbrella was also provided so the stroll into centra of Klagenfurt 5 minutes away was easy. On return there was a very good bar with cheerful staff. My few days stay means I will rerturn to this hotel to see my father's headstone in Klagenfurt's War Cemetary. One takes the No. 10 bus from the bus station to Lillienthatstrasse just 7-10 minutes away and I would like to say how beautifully kept and maintained it is. Thank you Klagenfurt.”
