“This B&B is realy fantastic! Ernesto and Alberto, who a running this place are super nice and friendly and always motivated to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They gave us great recomandations on where to eat and which places we should visit! The Room was spacios and had a nice, separated Bathroom and an Air-con. Everything was very carefully furnished and clean. The pool is very big and thge pool-area offers a stunnig view over the hills of Agrigento. “Marco is a very gentle host, with a lot of tact. The apartment is very nicely decorated, and the shower very comfortable! The entrance is located in via G. Amendola, while the apartment has a view to the main street running around the historic center (via Empedocle). You can enter in the G. Amendola street from via Empedocle, but only until the first corner of the street, which then becomes a "no entry" street ... and making half-turn is feasible but not so easy. We appreciated a lot Marco's welcome ... and the parking place he could block for us with his own car - might not be feasible at all times(?). There is anyway a toll parking in via Empedocle, almost in front of the apartment. We appreciated a lot the free tickets received for the Kolymbetra garden (see photo), an actual oasis at the end of the visit of the Valley of the Temples and the recommendations for visits and restaurants.”

Location is in the heart of the historic old town and has 2 balconies overlooking the via atenea- a beautiful shopping street and a stones throw from the churches and cathedral and old convent. Lots of lovely eating places and bars directly outside your front door and yet its peaceful and private. Very good for travelling to the valley of the temples- just 5 minutes by car. Loved the fact that there was central heating and a fire as we went at xmas so it could get chilly at night but the flat was warm and cosy. The owner was very friendly and even came out by car to fetch us as we got lost trying to find it initially. Shes also into restoration and had some fascinating stories about her work restoring the concordia temple nearby.”

From our room and the front yard, where there is ample room to park your car, we could see the Temple of Hercules. Paula gave us a very friendly welcome and was eager to please us - if we had wanted she would have laid in food for us or changed the bed linen but we did not avail ourselves of her hospitality. There is a large R7 supermarket about 5 minutes away by car. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, expecially with power sockets. It is about 10 minutes walk to reach the nearer of the 2 entrances to the archaeological site and about 30 minutes' walk to reach the excellent Trattoria dei Templi. It was a wonderfully calm and peaceful place to stay. When we left, Paula's mother gave us a sachet of oregano. Thoroughly charming.”

“We spent few days in Apprtamento Lilly in February with our 2,5 year old daughter and we can really recommend it - both for families with kids as for adults.
