“I am so glad to stay in this Inn. The lady(sorry i forget your Japanese name) in the front desk was sooo nice and polite. I lost my way with my mom so we called to the front desk. The kind lady answered the phone and asked about our location. She can speak English well and we can communicate easily. After knowing about our location, she drove her car to pick us up. What's more, we confused about that which bus we should take the other day. She helped us to ask the conductor in Japanese and taught us patiently. When we checked out, i asked her about the way back to the but station. She had already told us the way. But she saw that we were taking so many luggages. So she asked the other man to drove us to the station. I am so grateful to her and I recommend this inn to you all sincerely. If you want to go to the FujiQ Highland for fun, this inn will be your best choice. There are many convenient store like 7-11 or family mart and sushi stores nearby. The room is clean and well-equiped. A VERY GOOD PLACE and unforgettable memories. Thank you so much.”

“Ok so this is Japanese style accommodation, so you are after that type of experience it will be well worth it. The Manager of the hotel doesn't speak much English but he certainly makes up for it with kindness and jokes. Location was pretty good not that hard to get to by walking but we took a taxi, as it was summer and the weather is very muggy. I could imagine how busy it would be during peak but we were treated amazingly. I would recommend this place to any and would definitely stay again if I was in the area. Thanks for having us”

Located at the foot of Mount Fuji and surrounded by trees, Shikitei offers cottages with traditional architecture and a Japanese Irori hearth.
“"Kiwami" cottage is a very beautiful and perfectly equipped ryokan (traditional Japanese ambients with tatami, futons, wooden panels, etc). Cozy, very comfortable and clean. Huge bath with traditional Japanese wooden tub and view to the spectacular privat garden. Taichi Fujita is the best host you could ask for and speaks perfect English. Food was amazing, both shabu shabu and sukiyaki dinners were delicious and served in the room in a very Japanese traditional way.”

“Very cozy hostel and nice staff, you can get everything you need there, and also rent a bicycle for a reasonable price! There's also some Izakaya taste super good. Surrounding is very quiet, for me, it's better to live here rather than some tourist place. Even we booked 2 bed, we got a single room:) Highly recommend!”

“The lady that runs it was really nice and she sat and talked with me and the other guests. It was comfortable and cozy. They also provide a pillow, sheet, and blanket for an extra 150 yen (not sure if you can turn this down or not). Free Wifi was nice because the Wifi at my university/housing in Tokyo is painfully slow.”

Nestled in an area surrounded by nature, Teishaba Guesthouse&Cafe offers accommodation in Fujiyoshida. Free private parking is available on site.
“Never expierenced so kind hosts! They gave us advice how to travel due to heavy snow fall, provided delicous cake in the evening (free!) and the delicious selfmade breakfast (400yen, I'm personally angry if you don't book it). Done their best to keep us warm (hot bath, japanese hot-water bottle for the bedding) as fuji showed his coldest side. Replaced the breakfast sausage for my vegetarian girlfriend by tofu. Gave me no chance to carry my luggage by myself. Felt so welcome! The house is traditional japanese style with futon, tatami etc., very clean and cozy, rooms have (fuel) heating and you can see Fuji from the window. Lake Kawaguchiko is near (Fuji-View at its best!), Fuji-Q and Combini 5-10min by foot. Parking free at the house and even possible before/after checkout (saves Fuji-Q fee ;) ) Highly recommend you to stay there if you're around!”

“The owner of the guest house was very quick to reply any questions I had. There was free parking up front. The location was just a minute or 2 walk from Fujisan station, and next to a gas station, and a stop away from the Fuji Q themepark. Great food and service in the sushi restaurant below the guest house. The housekeeper runs the cafe downstairs, and she's SOOOO nice.”
