“We chose this hotel because of its next door location to the train station, so we could freely travel to surroundings. The hotel turned out to be very stylish, comfortable and cosy. The room (for Japan) is fairly spacey! The bathrobe for the in-hotel use are of high quality. There are tea supplies in the room. We ordered shiatsu massage. The man who did it - was a super professional and it was a total joy! Highly recomended! The only 'but' about it is that they don't cover the bed in your room during massage and you and the massager in outdoor clothes are on it... I would recomend them have a special cover for hygiene purpose. Breakfast was quite generous. Varied from miso soup to cornflakes. We liked our stay at this hotel and once in Okayama we will stay here again.”

“Room was North American size, clean & roomy. Excellent friendly staff, manager welcomed us. Breakfast buffet was good for $10.00. They provide a staff generated helpful map full of tips and information. .It's only a couple of blocks from the train station, & a tram ride to the castle/park. When we arrived in the vicinity, we had the hotel reservation out reading the address, when an elderly woman stopped & asked , "help?" We pointed to the sheet address, we were outside a 'Police Box' , she went in and summoned the young officer & told him to 'help these people'. We were just around the corner from the hotel, he waked us to it. All in all, we were approached and helped 5 times in Okayama, Arigato Okayama, ( i want to move there)”
