“As a couple we had a delightful 2 night stay at the Veranda. This was in no small part due to the fantastic room we had in the newly built Sunset Retreat. This is a small selection of rooms a few minutes walk from the main reception, restaurants and pools. We loved it because we didn't hear any noise at all as families tend to want to stay in the main building. I hope they keep this building as adults only, I would definitely book with confidence again if that was the case. The staff at the the Veranda are charming and efficient and we were treated like a friend by the lovely Mr Samai, who looked after our every need and went the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The Manager, a lovely lady from Myanmar, was simply charming. We can't wait to return.”

“We arrived by Tuk Tuk up a dusty dirt track off the main road and were greeted warmly by Sam who showed us to our gorgeous bungalow B6, elevated giving us views over the pool, lush tropical well kept garden and sea. The bungalow has a big bedroom with TV fan and aircon, a huge bed with quality cotton bedding and the room was lovely and clean. The decor was all clean too. The shower room was big but the shower itself was a little weak in power but did the job-fresh toiletries provided daily. There is a back room with a double sink, counter tops and a multi rice cooker. The pool has beds and a few shades and us cleaned twice daily by Sam. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is a selection from a European style menu - it was adequate to start off your day. Coffee is not local but Nescafé satchets. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the meals were excellent, with pricing less than the crab market. The staff are very nice and helpful - nothing is too much trouble although they cannot speak much English they do seem to understand. Sam speaks English and was great advising a Tuk Tuk driver where we wanted to go - ghost town, caves, former palace, salt n pepper places. The small complex is nice and quiet and well maintained - a great place to relax after hectic travel. The crab market us just down the road and the beach is close by. The complex has single speed local style free bikes which are adequate for a spin down the road - there are bikes with gears at the end of the path for hire if u want to ride up into the national park. We had a number of Kymer massages in our bungalow - which I highly recommend. - they can be arranged at reception. All in all, we loved our stay at Le Kep bungalows, and didn't want to leave the relaxing ambience-so we booked and stated another 4 nights. Will be sure to stay here again when next in kep.”
