The apartment is not far from the very popular district of Eimsbüttel and has everything you need. You have your own, lockable bedroom with your own access to the balcony and you can make use of the kitchen and bathroom, which we are going to share with you. Eimsbüttel is about 5 minutes away by car, bus or Moia (Hamburg's version of "Uber") There are plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and shopping opportunities there but you can, however find an Italian and a Balkan restaurant within walking distance as well as a well stocked supermarket. You can also quickly get to the city center (about 10-20 minutes) if you prefer to visit one of the many great events, sights or musicals. The apartment itself has everything you need. Make yourself at home! Important info: The sofa is not a pull-out sofa bed, but super comfortable. If you wish to bring an additional guest, we will place a mattress on the floor for additional sleeping space.
We are a multicultural family with two children, girls (9 and 16 years old) and have been living in Cape Town/South Africa for the last 15 years. We love to travel and are very easy going and enjoy getting to meet with other people. Everyone feels comfortable with us, regardless of whether they want to keep by themselves or sometimes end up at our kitchen table for dinner.
Hamburg has so much to offer that it can be hard to advise where to start. From the spectacular harbour and Elbe beach, ship tours, our submarine to great weekly markets, interesting architecture to museums and nature reserves, there is literally something for everybody.
