Chiswell Chapel was built in 1858 and converted into two apartments in the late 1980s. It has recently been designated an important local building. Its period features and engraved Portland map window make this property both unique and fun for all the family. The property has been renovated throughout with a luxury seaside themed feel and stunning views of the isle of Portland.

Property information

Built from stone in the 1800s the Cozy Cove Chapel offers a quirky holiday home with the perfect blend of period features and luxury accommodation. The large original restored Chapel windows give fantastic views of the isle of Portland and give a light and spacious feel. The Chapel is located on the famous chisel beach world heritage site, with its own private access and in the heart of Portland. It offers sea views, off road parking, 3 bedrooms, and large open plan living/dinning area. The local area has many cafe's, pubs, and restaurants to chose from and offers plenty to do. There's some spectacular sites to see including the 300 year old bill lighthouse, stone sculptures in Tout Quarry, and of course the incredible views and sunsets. For an action packed stay there's cycling, hiking, kite surfing, fishing, watersports, bird watching and the national sailing club (home of the 2012 Olympics) The Chapel has been newly renovated and furnished. The master bedroom has a king size bed that can be configured for 2 singles (please let us know in advance). The second double bedroom has sea views and a double bed located upstairs. A pebbles throw away from the famous chisel beach, 5 miles to the award winning Weymouth beaches. located at the southern most point of the spectacular Jurassic coast, the perfect get away for a family break or some secluded peace and quiet. Portland offers a wide range of activities including, water sports, hiking, fishing, cycling and sailing. Be sure to check out the stone sculptures in Tout Quarry and the 300 year old Bill lighthouse. The island offer spectacular views and sun sets!
