Little Valley View is a lovely, newly created spacious studio apartment on the ground floor of the main house Valley View. It offers very comfortable yet practical living accommodation. There is a lovely kitchen area with double oven and hob, fridge and washing machine and many extras to make your stay as 'home from home' as possible. The decor is clean and fresh and inspired by the colours of the sea and the surrounding area of Boscastle and the South West Coast Path. The deep petrol blues of the sea, the white foam of the crests of the waves, the grays of the stormy sky and sea and the yellow of the Gorse flowers that liberally adorn the coastal paths. Little Valley View offers the perfect retreat from the busyness of life for a few days of for longer periods. A great base to explore all that the North Cornish Coast has to offer or even to venture deeper into Cornwall and its diverse range of attractions. The south facing garden is shared with the owners and accessed via the side gate . There is an area of garden set aside for our guests with a comfortable bench, perfect for reading and enjoying views of the valley.

Roz and Roger welcome you to Little Valley View. We hope will find your accommodation clean and comfortable with everything to give you that 'home from home' feeling. We moved into Valley View in January 2013 and ran Cornish Valley View as a very successful B&B for 9 years. We loved hosting and meeting so many wonderful people. However following on from the pandemic we felt it was time for a change so with some careful planning we converted some space on the ground floor into what is now our Little Valley View. We thoroughly enjoy living in such a beautiful part of Cornwall and so does our working Cocker Spaniel Willow. She loves life and lives it to the full. She loves people and will come and say hello in the garden and will probably bring you a ball or stick or a toy. Roger is a keen cyclist and enjoys long afternoon walks with Willow. I enjoy walking, agility with Willow, sewing, baking, crochet, felting and singing.

Little Valley View is quietly situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) close to the harbour village of Boscastle on the North Cornish Coast. Marshgate itself is a peaceful village within a farming community surrounded by lush green pasture fields. There are no street lights in the village which enables us to enjoy the most magnificent starry night skies. Marshgate is served well with a fabulous village store/postoffice. The shop sells a great range of produce and artisan breads (on Mon, Wed, and Sat) and is the heart of the village. Our neighbouring village of Tresparrett is home to the Horseshoe Inn pub which is within walking distance from the house and is a great place for an evening meal. Little Valley View is less than 2 miles from the South West Coast Path and 3 miles from the famous harbour village of Boscastle and Crackington Haven our closest beach. Boscastle is well worth spending some time moochingaround. The harbour is very picturesque especially at high tide and a great place for swimming in the warmer months. There are various walks around the Boscastle area. One in particular is the walk along the Valency Valley to St Juliot's Church with its close links to Thomas Hardy A must see for all you Thomas Hardy fans. And for you Fisherman's Friends and Doc Martin fans we have Port Issac approximately 25 minutes drive away. The seaside town of Bude is 12 miles away and home to a lovely sandy beaches and many individual independent shops as well as a Morrisons and Lidl.
